Dr. Pinkhasov received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, New York where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. He completed both his general surgery internship and urology residency at Milton S. Hersey & Penn State University Medical Center, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Urological Association. Dr. Pinkhasov has done research at Penn State University Medical Center and has contributed to several publications and abstracts.
