Dr McKinley was one of the most thoughtful and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met! He took a lot of time, was listening to every small health detail, explained each step of they way of his spot on diagnosis and took an extraordinary time to answer all my questions in detail and with utmost politeness. When my appointment was done I noticed he personally took 1.5 hrs for my appointment. JUST WOW!

What a great doctor. Sympathetic, great listener, and very thorough. Does not rush you at all. Works with you to develop a plan that is most beneficial for your health. Definitely keeping him as my I. D doctor. Highly recommended.
One thing to keep in mind though. Because he takes his time with his patients, expect longer wait times. Try not to get impatient or upset. He’s totally worth the wait.

Dr. McKinley was extremely thorough and patient with me. He took the time to listen closely and answer all of my questions and concerns. Also his staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I saw Dr. McKinley 4 or 5 times over many months and when I would need a follow up appointment his staff would do everything they could to get me in early if there was limited availability. Grateful that I found him!

I could not have chosen a better doctor for my medical care. Dr. McKinley has outstanding bedside manners that even crosses through the screen into your home/office (on virtual calls).
He cares about keeping his patient’s mind and heart at ease. He addresses your concerns without hesitation and continuously asks if you have additional questions and patiently takes the time to answer each one.
Your visit does not end once you leave his office/end of the virtual call. He follows up if he thinks of something else. His passion for what he does comes through during your encounter; this is not simply a job for him.
His staff is extremely polite and called multiple times to confirm the appointment and made sure that I understood the instructions for the virtual visit. They provided both verbal and written instructions.
I did a lot of research reading through reviews on zocdoc prior to scheduling my first appointment, and I don’t regret a second of that time spent. The reviews on here are as accurate as they come.

My wife & I have seen Dr.McKinley at his office a few times in the past, and today we had a video call with him.
As always he couldn’t be more knowledgeable, caring, and patient. He listens carefully, and makes you feel that you are the only patient of the day! He never rushes and answers all the questions. He is fascinating to listen. He is a passionate doctor who is happy to share his expertise and provide his patients with as much information and guidance as possible.

I would highly recommend Dr. McKinley. I have been having some odd medical issues after living abroad. He took a very long time to listen carefully to the whole story of a series of infections and issues I've been having over several years. I feel a little bad because I definitely made him late to see other patients, but personally, I'd rather wait a little while to see a doctor who actually listens and is thorough in his assessment than go to someone who rushes through. He was exceptionally attentive to my specific concerns, talked me through his thinking about what might be wrong and was very clear about my options moving forward. He was also quite knowledgeable about the environment in which I had been living -- which is surprisingly rare, even among doctors who claim to be travel specialists. I went in to the appointment worried and confused and came out feeling reassured and confident that the problem is under control. His staff were also excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. McKinley listened very patiently to all my concerns about the problem. He never seemed to be in any rush and was very thorough with his explanation of the infection and how the prescribed medicines would help. He was very amiable and polite. Although the waiting time is long, i think that's just because the doctor gives more time to his patients. Since his medication was very effective i don't mind the waiting time.

Dr. McKinley is a great doctor! He did not rush like other doctors I have been to. I was impressed by how he genuinely cared and how he took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He is very efficent and makes sure to check everything. I definetly recommend him! My only minor complaint was that the waiting time was a bit longer than I liked (1 hour).
