Western Medicine
Dr. Morgano trained at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and afterward completed a 1st year medical residency, a 2nd year surgical residency & a 3rd year surgical fellowship. Since this training in the traditional approach Dr.Morgano has branched out exploring more refined surgical approaches such as minimal invasive surgery and is a fellow of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery. This method seeks to preserve the natural structures of the foot while accomplishing surgical correction of many bony and soft tissue deformities. After a car accident in 2011, Dr.Morgano had to stop performing surgery and now focuses on nonsurgical and holistic approaches to treatment.
Eastern Medicine
Dr. Morgano is a practicing Reflexologist, is currently practicing Energy Kinesiology, utilizes elements of Chinese Sports Medicine for traumatic and chronic injuries, has studied Tracking and Forensics and incorporates Body Alignment correction, Tai Chi and Meditation techniques in his practice.
Internal Arts
Dr. Morgano is trained in Tai Chi, Tibetan Yoga, XingYi and Meditation. In his medical practice he utilizes Tai Chi for modifying postural and structural alignment in standing, sitting and movement. He uses Tibetan Yoga (simply, a gentle hybrid of Qi gong and yoga) for opening up the main energy channels, mobilizing the spine, pelvis, internal organs and fascia. Meditation techniques are employed to help bring the attention to body areas of imbalance, breathing patterns, and noticing habitual thought cycles or patterns.

Dr. Morgano quickly resolved the issues I had with my feet without the need for lengthy analysis (ex-rays / scans etc). we also discussed the steps (pun intended) I could take to prevent the issues from re-occurring in the future.

I am extremely satisfied with Dr Morgano. He diagnosed a toenail fungus and athlete's foot and prescribed treatment for me, which not only included two prescriptions but information on diet and behavior changes. He took time to discuss my current diet and what I needed to do to 'not feed the fungus' from within. He gave me information to take with me and scheduled a follow-up appointment for 3 months later.
At the risk of inducing a groan from ZocDoc readers, I feel confident that my feet are in good hands with Dr. Morgano

Dr. Morgano was the 5th podiatrist I saw in trying to resolve my 2+ year-long battle with foot pain caused by a dropped metatarsal head and he will be my last. He truly listened and was able to identify issues that were contributing to my pain. I like that he comes at issues with a more holistic approach than a typical doctor. Ultimately the issue was with the orthotic I had made by my previous doctor but I will continue to see Dr. Morgano as my primary podiatrist and highly recommend him to any other foot pain suffers out there!
