I love the doctor. The equipment could use some cleaning, the glasses storage shelves..could he a little more secured for the glasses. (Probably needs a little update) Overall of would recommend the doctor.

This was the first time seeing this doctor for my 10-year old son. He was kind, gentle and thorough in both his exam and answering our questions. We've been to other eye doctors but none picked up on something unique to my son. Dr. Dastgir being a surgeon as well did and took notes and pictures to begin preparing the solution for a future visit. We will be back!

The doctor was very informative in reference to just general eye studies and what he feels is safest. I really appreciated his honesty rather than encouraging a more costly practice that is becoming popular for children(glass contacts) to help correct eye sight he made clear glasses are safer and he recommends just that. Iv gone to eye doctors who suggest costly procedures that will benefit them (bigger pay check) but in the long run not work in my favor. I know glasses are safer that's why most eye doctors wear them themselves.

The office completely lacked professionalism. The receptionist was wearing flip flops. Not nice flip-flops, the kind of flip-flops you were in the shower. I forwarded them an email with my rx info but they never responded. When I called to follow-up, everyone seemed confused. Even when I read my rx to him, the doctor didn't really seem to understand and spent most of his time talking over me. Getting one simple prescription for my contacts has turned into an unnecessarily drawn out, unpleasant experience.
