Overall good exam. Agreed with the current Fluticasone and sent in a prescription to pharmacy. Also said he was prescribing a cream for ear dryness and itchiness, perhaps he forgot or changed his mind because I did not get it. Agreed to submit a sleep study order to SA Sleep Center. Awaiting call from them.
My next appointment is in 5 weeks.

He received his residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ruiz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery. Dr. Ruiz is a Professor of Otolaryngology and Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Ruiz is fluent in Spanish and sees patients at our Northwest and Downtown locations. He sees patients for evaluation and diagnosis of sleep disorders as well as adults and children for general ENT issues.

The staff, starting with Monica at the front desk were awesome and very friendly and knowledgeable. I was amazed by Monica who was juggling so many things and was still able to help everyone who came to her window - I sat right outside the window.
My only negative was the 2 hour wait. Once I got in to see Dr. Ruiz all was great.

It was my initial visit, the waiting area was full of patients and it took over 2 hours to see the doctor. I hope his diagnosis and plan works well. I go back in 4 weeks so hopefully the wait won't be as long.
