McKenzie earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio in 2021, where she was inducted into both the Alpha Eta Honor Society and the Pi Alpha National Honor Society in recognition of her academic achievement and leadership. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, which she completed with Cum Laude honors in 2017. McKenzie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed to practice in Texas. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Bexar County Physician Assistant Society.
