I was seeing by one of the doctors, young but very smart and knowledgeable. She not only prescribed me a lotion but told me I need to change my makeup and even food as they could be trigerring my rosecea. The office is nice and clean. I def would recommend them

More about Dr. Giovanna Ciocca, MD, FAAP
Dr. Giovanna Ciocca is board certified in both pediatrics and dermatology. After completing her pediatric dermatology fellowship at Miami Children’s Hospital she joined the pediatric dermatology practice there where she had practiced for almost 5 years before moving to private practice. Her special interests include vascular birthmarks, acne, and laser treatment for various children’s skin conditions.
Dr. Ciocca enjoys teaching and serves as clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Florida International University, training several pediatric and dermatology residents.
She has been a key speaker at both national and international conferences, as well as pediatric board review courses. In addition, she is a speaker and consultant for several major pharmaceutical companies.
Since the beginning of her training, Dr. Ciocca has participated in multiple phase one to phase three trials and is currently focused on special trials involving new breakthrough treatments for children’s skin conditions. She has written and edited several articles in both general and pediatric dermatology journals, as well as co-authored a chapter of a pediatric dermatology book.
Dr. Ciocca finds her career very rewarding and looks forward to building a lasting relationship with her patients and families. During her free time she loves spending time with her family, traveling and reading. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Many dermatologists today are more interested in selling cosmetic products than medical treatment. Dr. Ciocca listens to the patient, explains what she finds and spends the time required with the patient. Staff are polite, efficient and professional.

Visited Dr. Ciocca for the first time. The staffed was very attentive and professional. Wait time was minimal, i probably waited 15 min before being seen. Dr. Ciocca was lovely, she took her time and didn't mind explaining all the medical terms. I would definitely be going back again. Highly recommended and she sees kids!

It was a very bad experience because when I get into the system and saw your add, the first thing I did was calling to your office to see if you accepted amerigroup insurance, the rep said yes then I attended to my appointment and the rep said you not take that insurance. I wasted my time since I asked for this appointment. I should have enough time to find the doctor who accept the insurance my daughter has.

Excellent Service, no wonder this Doctor's office is so busy.
I like the fact that the Doctor explained the condition and treatment in detail. The procedures are affordable.
The factor that I would suggest to improve is their wait time, the wait times are painfully long. Extending their office hours at least on alternative weekends will be very helpful.
The office staffs were cute and friendly.
