Affectionately known as "Dr. I." Dr. Impeduglia, a native of Italy, earned his medical degree at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. Soon after in 1982, Dr. I. moved to the Washington area and was a fellow scientist at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda. He served his pediatric residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City and became Chief Resident of Pediatrics. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Impeduglia returned to Maryland and joined White Oak Pediatrics in 1989. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. I and his wife Stefanie have three sons, Roberto, Marco and Carlo, all former patients of White Oak Pediatrics.
