Olayinka Akinnuoye, FNP, has dedicated her career to caring for people of all ages, from childhood through adulthood. She has extensive experience across various health sectors as she pursues this noble profession. As a nurse, she has served in different health facilities and organizations as a Clinical Nurse, Assistant Director of a unit, and Clinical Case Manager. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in acute care settings, sub-acute care facilities, outpatient primary care clinics, and government agencies in the metropolitan area.
Olayinka Akinnuoye is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She began her career at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, in 1989. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing from Howard University and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Grand Canyon University.
Her main objective is to provide affordable healthcare to diverse populations regardless of color, gender, race, identity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or preference. Her focus is on prevention through patient education, treatment, and management of chronic health conditions. She is licensed as an APRN in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
