Dr. Johnson is great, just be prepared to wait at least an hour before seeing her—I even tried scheduling an appointment at off-hours and still had to wait an hour.
Wait time is usually about 2 hours It was a pleasure to be seen within the hour. She is very thorough!!
She always polite, always show concern and make sure you don't miss your appt they always call a day before to remind you.
Very through and patient. She took the time to learn a little about me outside of my medical history. She was recommended to me and I am very happy. Wait time however was the only negative. Maybe it was just that day.
Dr Johnson was incredibly warm and caring. I felt very comfortable with her and was able to ask a long list of questions I had accrued. Her staff was professional and efficient. I am glad I chose her for my new doctor.
There is something very warm and comforting about Dr. Johnson's presence. She is a wonderful doctor, and is very caring and attentive. Most doctors in New York want you in and out of their office, but Dr. Johnson listens and is very thoughtful with her responses. Highly recommend!
I felt extremely comfortable and was seen in a efficient and professional manner
Confirming the Appointment: I received a call from the office to confirm my appointment and my check-in information was requested. As a first time Zocdoc user, I figured I missed a step and had to go back to complete some information. With the receptionist on the phone, I told her what I had completed and it aligned with the information she requested. I then went back and re-entered the information, to ensure that I submitted it properly. For the next week or two I received several calls from the same individual stating that my appointment could not be confirmed due to incomplete information. The day before the appointment I received another call requesting my information. When I went online to view my appointment I saw that a completed check-in form (on the office's letterhead) had been saved to the appointment. I called back to the office to get a clarification of what the issue was and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I emailed Zocdoc and they ensured that I had completed the check-in form and that the office had it on file. Arriving for the Appointment: The receptionist pulled up my forms and confirmed that they had them on file. She handed me a clip board with the same forms and told me to fill it out again, because she couldn't print it. She also informed me that I should have come a bit earlier since this was my first time in the office and forms needed to be completed. I noticed a sign that listed the required fees that will be charged if a patient needs to doctor to fill out any forms. On several occasions I informed the office that I had forms that needed to be filled out and asked for additional information. The one time I was given a response, i was just told to "have the forms available". After about 15 minutes, I left. The way an office is ran says a lot about a doctor. By then I had interacted with two different people, neither of whom appeared to be competent. The Appointment: (see above) After the Appointment: I spoke with a member of the Zocdoc support team to inform of the issue and ask about Zocdoc requirements. the representative was very helpful and I'd recommend reaching out to their support team to address any concerns.
The doctor is kind and thorough.
Dr. Johnson is very personable. She listens and is will to answer your questions.
Wait time has not improved, probably gotten worse, since my first visit. At this point I've been waiting almost 3 hours just to be seen for probably 5 minutes.
She was ok She was very short with me Waited too long && all test have to be sent to a lab Why can't you do a pregnancy test right there ?? And her office isn't kid friendly at all I had to leave my son outside of the bathroom and office doors b/c everything was so small. AGAIN NOT BABY/KID FRIENDLY AT ALL !!
She's a very soft spoken and kind woman!
Dr. Johnson is very thorough and provides each patient with the time THEY desire. She explains medical terminology and treatment in a way you can feel comfortable with your results.
It was much better than the last time.
Dr. Johnson and her staff were warm and wonderful! So happy to have found her!
This was only my first visit. So good so far.
A clearly professional, committed medical practitioner operating with a highly organized and professional staff. My visit was speedy, well organized and very satisfactory.
Dr. Johnson is very pleasant and informative . She knows her patients and is very accommodating .
Dr. Johnson is really nice as is her staff. The office is clean and since I had an evening appointment was also fairly empty. I will advise for those who need prescriptions for birth control, Dr. Johnson doesn't do that, you have to go to a OBGYN.
Great experience. I am really happy to have found her. I look forward to her being my PC. The office is a little old looking, but her staff are very friendly.
Very pleasant and accommodating
Professional, warm & friendly.
I had a good visit with my DR today .i had a thorough assessment done .previous lab work done was reviewed with me and necessary counseling was done with me regarding any abnormal labs..health problems reported by me were addressed by MD and appropriate referrals were given .My visit with my MD is never rushed .she is always pleasant .
Slowest office ever. Unfriendly staff and not much comfort and reassurance.
Dr. Johnson is a very competent, caring and mostly cautious geiatric internist. However, if her staff improves their clerical follow-up skills her practice will be more efficient.
Dealing with a patient is wonderful, especially having that caring concern for her patient, and speaking with the patient to see how is the progress, and setting her follow up appointments.
Always professional and never cease to provide excellent care. I live more than a 1000 miles from Golda's office, but she will always remain my primary care doctor. This is a doctor who truly loves what she does, and puts her patients first. I can truly say this because she been my Doctor for over 24 yrs........What a short time to evaluate someone.
she nice and gentle i would recommend her love her
She is straight forward in the results received from tests. She shows u results as well as explain what those results are. She tells u what u should do to improve your condition/s.
All Staff I met were professional and friendly. Made my first visit very comfortable. Dr. Johnson was professional, friendly, and informative. After being in NYC for 4 years, I finally found a place that I feel is as good as my home doctor where I had been forever!
I was very pleased with my visit. Dr. Johnson always gives me good advise and suggestions.
Very clean office, very friendly.
It was comfortable and smooth also the illness I was feeling she took care of it.
I loved Dr. Johnson. She was thorough, thoughtful and understanding. I don't have anything specifically "wrong" with me but a few issues I'm concerned about; Dr. Johnson took these very seriously and had a number of recommendations. She also found an issue during the exam that either just recently sprang up or that my past doctors had missed. I am very happy to have her as my new primary care physician.
Prior to going to the doctor office, I read the reviews. I agree with the other patients that stated that she listens to her pts. Yes the exam rooms are small, and there was a wait. But nobody has mentioned her staff. Her staff members that I dealt with this evening are wonderful, knowledgable and warm. They play an important part of the visit. I may consider making her my pcp
Dr Johnson and her staff let you feel like family
This was my first visit and Dr. Golda was patient and listens to what you have to say. Very soft spoken but has a sense of humor with some personal questions that need to be asked. Her examining rooms are very small but all in all I will definitely go back to see her for my followups. Long walk from subway!
Overall I was satisfied, I didnt know she has so many elderly clients, they definetly need more of her attention and on the date of my visit there was an emergency that needed EMS assistance, however once I was seen she was very attentative to my concerns, I will go back for a follow up visit.
it was pleasant!
Dr. Johnson was very thorough and informative, and I'll definitely be going back to see her!
I really enjoyed visit.
Dr Johnson took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness.I'm very satisfied with my visit.
Very pleasant doctor, took the time with the visit. Worth the wait.
I was comfortable about talking to doctor
She is one of a kind
Dr. Johnson was very attentive to my needs. She made sure that the appropriate tests were done and booked my follow up appointment. she's a wonderful doctor.
The visit was good, but the wait time is extreme.
She's a very nice Doctor, she finds time to make small talk with me, trying to get to know me, which is really nice.
They had no record of my appointment
The enivronment to me was not up to standards as far as what a doctors office should look like. It wasn't inviting, I would have preferred to stand outside or sit in my car and wait. The wait was long and the place looked like a run down building. The doctor was great. But if I'm going to wait in a waiting area for 2hrs. I want to feel comfortable and relaxed. The examination room was clustered and very small. The place itself needs work, so that patients can feel comfortable.
She is more than a Doctor. She exudes a very kind demeanor which makes it easy to find a comfort level speaking with her. Very meticulous in addressing medical problems which left me with a sense of satisfaction. I would recommend her.
The wait was pretty long, but since she is the only doctor in the office I knew it would be awhile before I was seen by Dr.Johnson. she seemed very concerned and pretty kind. Only downside was the nurse at the front desk, she had an attitude.
Thank you for such great service. Ms. Roberta Quartey
She is a great person and a great doctor. Vey helpful and efficient
The doctor was very professional and so was the nurse practitioner. I'm glad I went to her for a check up. The staff was very nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable. Although the wait was long I would recommend this doctor for the care she gives all her patients.
very helpful, took her time with asking me quesitons and answering the ones I had. would recommend.
I will use this doctor for simple issues, but other than that I was quite disappointed with the her responses to the services that I was asking for.
I arrived 15 minutes early and was not seen until an hour later. Dr. Johnson was satisfactory. It was not my worst dr's office experience, nor was it my best. I was surprised to learn that they do not accept credit/debit for copays of new patients.
Dr. Johnson is one of rhe most caring physicians I have enver encountered. She listens!
Dr. Johnson is a very thorough and caring physician. She exudes a level of expertise and professionalism that should be emulated.
wonderful doctor, highly professional and a great listener AAAA++++
Dr. Johnson was great. Very professional and helpful. Her staff is somewhat unprofessional. Watching TV, talking on cell phones, internet shopping while seeing patients. I'm sure their professionalism would have sped the whole process along much faster, but an OK visit nonetheless. Dr. Johnson's pleasant demeanor definitely made the wait worthwhile.
Very nice visit.
