This is the best experience I have ever had with a PCP. She was incredibly thorough, really took her time and showed great empathy while being very professional. I just moved to the neighborhood and found her through the great reviews online but i have to say she far exceeded my expectations. I wish all doctors could be so throughtful and thorough. I’m so grateful I found her and that she is here to serve this community. It makes me happy to know the residents have the option of seeing such a great doctor. I waited about 45 minutes but honestly after my visit I feel that almost any wait time is worth it because of how thorough my visit was. The reception was efficient, organized , courteous and professional. I’m extremely happy that this is my new doctor’s office! Highly recommend Dr. Johnson!

Dr. Johnson is great, just be prepared to wait at least an hour before seeing her—I even tried scheduling an appointment at off-hours and still had to wait an hour.

There is something very warm and comforting about Dr. Johnson's presence. She is a wonderful doctor, and is very caring and attentive. Most doctors in New York want you in and out of their office, but Dr. Johnson listens and is very thoughtful with her responses. Highly recommend!

Confirming the Appointment: I received a call from the office to confirm my appointment and my check-in information was requested. As a first time Zocdoc user, I figured I missed a step and had to go back to complete some information. With the receptionist on the phone, I told her what I had completed and it aligned with the information she requested. I then went back and re-entered the information, to ensure that I submitted it properly. For the next week or two I received several calls from the same individual stating that my appointment could not be confirmed due to incomplete information. The day before the appointment I received another call requesting my information. When I went online to view my appointment I saw that a completed check-in form (on the office's letterhead) had been saved to the appointment. I called back to the office to get a clarification of what the issue was and was placed on hold for 20 minutes.
I emailed Zocdoc and they ensured that I had completed the check-in form and that the office had it on file.
Arriving for the Appointment: The receptionist pulled up my forms and confirmed that they had them on file. She handed me a clip board with the same forms and told me to fill it out again, because she couldn't print it. She also informed me that I should have come a bit earlier since this was my first time in the office and forms needed to be completed.
I noticed a sign that listed the required fees that will be charged if a patient needs to doctor to fill out any forms. On several occasions I informed the office that I had forms that needed to be filled out and asked for additional information. The one time I was given a response, i was just told to "have the forms available".
After about 15 minutes, I left. The way an office is ran says a lot about a doctor. By then I had interacted with two different people, neither of whom appeared to be competent.

After the Appointment: I spoke with a member of the Zocdoc support team to inform of the issue and ask about Zocdoc requirements. the representative was very helpful and I'd recommend reaching out to their support team to address any concerns.

Dr. Johnson is really nice as is her staff. The office is clean and since I had an evening appointment was also fairly empty.
I will advise for those who need prescriptions for birth control, Dr. Johnson doesn't do that, you have to go to a OBGYN.
