About Dr. Matthew Wagner
Dr. Matthew Wagner is a family medicine physician joining Westside Family Medicine in August 2026. He completed his medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023. He completed his family medicine residency in 2026 at the Cleveland Clinic, where he served as Patient Quality and Safety Chief.
Dr. Wagner is dedicated to treating the whole person, recognizing that health is shaped not only by what happens in the exam room but by the communities and environments in which patients live. His training emphasized quality improvement and community engagement, including leading initiatives on healthy food access and home blood pressure monitoring to improve hypertension outcomes. He is passionate about building bridges between clinical care and community resources to address the root causes of illness.
Outside the office, he enjoys exploring new neighborhoods and going on day hikes with his wife and their dog, Lulu.

The appointment went very well. Its after the appointment that Im having issues. My right foot has been hurting for a while and I was told by the doctor that I need to get an x-ray done, but the order that the doctor gave me has no signature on it and where he mentioned the type of x-ray I need he did not mention if I need a left foot or right foot x-ray for last two weeks. I have been calling the doctors office a few times every day and no one has answered a single call for me. ?
