More about Gracie Cartwright, PA
Grace Cartwright, MPAS, PA-C “Gracie”, graduated from Ursuline Academy of Dallas in 2012. In 2016, she graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutritional Sciences.
As an undergrad, Gracie volunteered with St. David’s Hospital, a large hospital in Austin, and with Global Medical Training, an organization designed to assist the medically underserved population in countries around the world. While a volunteer with Global Medical Training, she participated in a week-long medical mission trip in Nicaragua in January 2015.
After graduating from college, Gracie moved back to Dallas and began working as a medical assistant in a dermatology office in Plano while applying to graduate school to become a Physician Assistant. In the summer of 2017, Gracie moved to Galveston, Texas to attend the University of Texas Medical Brach (“UTMB”) to become a Physician Assistant. She graduated from the UTMB with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies with honors. Due to her prior experience in dermatology, Gracie knew she wanted to return to Dallas and work in dermatology again.
In the fall of 2019, she became a licensed and certified Physician Assistant and began her career in dermatology as a Physician Assistant in the DFW area.
Gracie resides in Dallas with her husband, Nick. In their free time, they enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Great experience for my first ever full body skin check. Everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome and relaxed through the entire process.

Front desk staff could improve communication and general friendliness - I felt really weird because they didn't greet me. Both were available but neither made it clear that they were ready to talk to me. When I finally got one of them to acknowledge me (I literally had to be like, hello? I have an appointment? ) she kept asking questions that I had already filled out online for the office. At the end of my appointment when I paid, there was no sort of "thank you have a good day" send off or anything - I was still standing there and she went back to looking at her computer working. I had to ask "do I need to do anything else?"
That said, they were helpful in getting me a quote I requested and the medical care I received was excellent. Just... front desk soft skills need work.
