Dr. Sachs completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science at Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pennsylvania in 1989. He attended medical school at Kansas City University College of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri. He graduated magna cum laude 3rd in his class at medical school and received his medical degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in 1993. Dr. Sachs completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at Michigan State University in 1998. Dr. Sachs is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Sachs has practiced medicine for 21 years, 18 of which have been in Atlanta. He enjoys performing most general otolaryngology procedures which include but are not limited to ear tubes, tonsils, adenoids (on patients 13 and older), thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, parotidectomy, rhinoplasty, septoplasty, inferior turbinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, sleep apnea surgery including hyoid suspension, tympanomastoidectomy, allergy testing, in office balloon sinuplasty, Latera implants, Vivar/Aerin nasal airway remodeling, and videostroboscopy as well as basic and early stages of head and neck cancer surgeries. He specializes in thyroid, sinus, and sleep apnea surgery.

Dr. Sachs was thorough, listened to my concerns, assessed & diagnosed and came up with a realistic treatment plan for my bothersome symptoms. He was sweet and reassuring, which I truly needed since I have been experiencing very bad anxiety related to my throat issues. His whole office staff was friendly and accommodating. I am very happy with my visit.
