Dr Stewart seemed to listen to me and offered some options for me. He seems to just tell it how it is, and did not try to whitewash surgery into a fix all solution. I am willing to walk down this road with him and see where it leads me. Over all, Dr Stewart made a good first impression on me. I will be going to him again.

An Arizona native, Dr. Stewart grew up in Mesa; graduating Summa Cum Lade from Arizona State University with a degree in Exercise Science. During his undergraduate studies he took part in the athletic training program at ASU and assisted in the care of athletes. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas and elected to remain there to complete his Orthopedic Surgery training. After residency, Dr. Stewart completed a fellowship in Sports Orthopedics with the University of California San Diego, San Diego State University and the San Diego Padres. Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine and participates in the care of local high school, and community college athletic programs. He also serves as an associate provider for the San Diego Padres minor league system. He enjoys spending time with his family and stays active playing sports of every kind.

I have only seen him once for a consultation today. I liked that he had an assistant documenting our conversation. He was extremely informative about the risks of knee replacements and suggested other alternatives. I'm scheduling an MRI and am anxious to get in to see Dr Stewart again to discuss a strategy for pain management.

I arrived a little early and instead of making me wait they took me in the x-ray room and got that taken care of. Then I was escorted to the examining room where I didn't wait more than 5 minutes before Dr. Stewart came in. He was courteous and professional and I was on my way within 15 minutes. I have my next appointment next month.

Took my daughter here for a sore knee. She is VERY nervous about going to any type of doctor, but everyone was very kind and put her at ease. The wait area was very busy, but they have a big staff and were helping people in a very timely manner. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Dr. Stewart and his staff are very kind and friendly. Dr. Stewart took the time to explain my injury and my options in the near future if necessary. I chose to see Dr. Stewart based on the reviews I have read here on ZocDoc. I found their office to be very clean and organized also. I will stay with this office, because it is difficult to locate a good doctor these days. I was given the impression Dr.Stewart puts his patients first.
