He then moved to South Texas and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Boeta-Lopez completed his Family Medicine Residency at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. Dr. Boeta-Lopez is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with patients of all ages. He takes pride in providing thoughtful, individualized care and strives to make each visit a positive and meaningful experience. Dr. Lopez and staff were great. Felt very comfortable throughout the whole interaction. I would suggest maybe have some background noise in the lobby such as music or a television program playing, but besides the really quiet lobby experience everything was great. I checked in for my appointment and was seen almost right away. Nurse Monica was funny and upbeat, she asked me important questions. Almost immediately Dr.Lopez came in the room and right away asked follow up questions to help figure out what was going on. I felt seen and comfortable.

When first booked with this doctor non of the numbers online connected me with the office. Once I finally connected and arrived to my appointment they declined seeing me saying my insurance was not accepted. It was a wasted of time and money.

Dr. Lopez was amazing! He listened to everything that I was complaining about health wise and was engaging. He believed me instead of just brushing me off, I didn't have to advocate hard for help getting down to the root issues instead of covering it up with a prescription or "diet and exercise" he was knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend him!

Because of the fact that I just moved to Lockhart I was expecting to have to wait weeks/months to schedule an appointment. I received an appointment within two days. He was very thorough and listened to my concerns . I was given referrals for the specific issues/doctors I needed and I was given a choice between locations. I feel I made an excellent choice in my primary care physician and look forward to a good outcome in my care.
