Have been seeing Dr. Wang since 2004, he is very knowledgeable about skin variations with some minor treatments done the same day. He is also very good at explaining what is normal for skin and if it's cosmetic, best way for your skin to treat it.
He is also one of the few doctors that has known Botox works for certain types of migraines for decades and advocated for insurance to pay for those treatments. Has stopped my migraines for years!
Highly recommend over fancy multi-doctor offices, the one on one with him is excellent.

After 10 years of practicing dermatology as a partner at Lake Washington Dermatology, Dr. Wang founded Advanced Dermatology Northwest. Dr. Wang received his M.D. from University of California San Francisco, did his internship in medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, and completed his residency and fellowship in dermatology at University of Washington Medical Center.
Dr. Wang has a broad interest in general dermatology, and surgical dermatology. He also offers cosmetic procedures including Botox, Restylane, Laser treatment, and Sclerotherapy. He is an associate clinical professor in dermatology and teaches medical students and residents at the University of Washington Dermatology Clinic weekly for almost 10 years.
Dr. Wang also has extensive research background. He holds a PH.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry from Oregon Health Sciences University, and did a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Harold Varmus, the former director of the National Institute of Health. His previous research includes studies on HIV, Kaposi's sarcoma, and other viral pathogens.
In his spare time, Dr. Wang enjoys spending time with his wife and his two daughters. British Columbia and Hawaii are their favorite vacation destinations.

I have had recent growths on my skin in the last few months & wanted assurances that they were normal & not problematic. Neither UW Medical Clinics nor Evergreen Hospital were able to refer me to a dermatologist within several months. I found zocdoc & on it an opening with Dr. Wang & took it. He gave me a full body skin scan & fortunately was able to give me the assurances that I wanted --- nothing to worry about. He and his staff were prompt, cordial, & helpful, & I would return to him without question.

He's always been very informative and professional, when I have any questions, he listens and helps me to understand my health and goals. He is very good at health screening, especially my skin explaining what is common and what needs to be monitored.
Dr. Wang and all his staff are very friendly too, it's nice to see your doctor smile and be genuine with everyone. There are so few doctors like this and why I've seen him since 2004.
