Dr. H. Wade Boatwright specializes in minimally invasive surgery and female pelvic reconstructive surgery. He is certified in the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. He has been performing laparoscopic hysterectomies since 1991. Known as early advocate for minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Boatwright is one of the few gynecologists in the area who performs the total laparoscopic hysterectomy through a single small incision. Medical advancements in surgery have changed what used to be a 3-day hospital stay, into a 23- hour outpatient observation. This means less cost for the patient and quicker recovery time and back to work in as little as 7 days! Ask if you are a candidate.
