Wow...I didn’t believe there was a Urologist out there that actually is not in a panic to see the next patient. Dr Gutman is unique and should be viewed as a true professional that is committed to giving his patient the appropriate time in order to provide the best posssible solution for treating an ailment. I feel lucky to have met him and thank him for his willingness to listen, observe, diagnosis and treat.

Dr. Gutman graduated from SUNY Buffalo University Magna Cum Laud and a Member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then earned his MD at the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. His Urological training and degree were obtained at New York University Medical Center. This included training at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in Urologic Oncology and advanced training is Sexual Dysfunction.
He has been in practice in the Smithtown area for over 25 years. During that time he has been active in many community and hospital services including President of the Medical Staff at St. John’s Hospital,
community speaking and education services, and annual Prostate Screening.
Dr. Gutman is on the Medical staff of St. Catherine’s Medical Center, John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, St. Charles Hospital, Huntington Hospital, and Stony Brook Hospital.
Dr. Gutman is Board Certified in Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Urology Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the New York State and Suffolk County Medical Societies.
His practice encompasses all aspects of Urology with particular interests in prostate disease, stone disease, and sexual dysfunction.

I do not usually enjoy Dr visits but Dr. Gutman & his staff do their best to make your visit enjoyable. They are professional, courteous & extremely helpful. As far as doctors are concerned, I wouldn't visit any other urologist except for Dr. Gutmen. He is the best and has a solid reputation. If anyone asks "who is your dr" and you say Dr. Gutman, they say you are in good hands.
