Hayley Cort, MD is caring and responsive mental health professional who has been in private practice for close to 15 years. Dr. Cort works with late adolescent through adult men and women treating anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, dysthymia, bipolar disorders, ADD, panic, and depression with both medication and psychotherapy. She also subspecializes in reproductive psychiatry - treating women who are trying to conceive, during pregnancy,postpartum or are struggling with perimenopausal and menopausal issues.
Dr. Cort has an eclectic work history. She has worked and/or trained in several countries, including Germany, Switzerland, England and New Zealand. These experiences have given her an understanding of cultural differences in attitudes and perceptions of illness and treatments.
In the US, she worked in both the NYU and Marymount College Counseling Centers for a total of over 7 years. Through this, she has extensive experience working with the late adolescent and young adult populations.
Dr. Cort works with her patients to determine which medications or various other therapeutic options will help bring both rapid improvement and long term stability. She works to enable her patients to achieve or regain full functioning in their careers, with their families, and in all other areas of their lives. If a patient is already in therapy, she is available to consult ongoing with their therapist.
She is told by both patients and colleagues, that she has the gift of balancing professionalism with an easygoing, informal manner.

I first saw Dr. Cort when I was trying to get pregnant. I was depressed and anxious. She medicated me and listened to me perfectly! I now have an 8 month boy who is happy and healthy as am I !
