Any patient from outside New York State will have this first appointment in Chelsea, New York.
ABOUT DR. TAYLOR TOBKES:
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Tad worked in Corporate Event Planning for an investment bank in New York City. He left his job in 2008 to pursue a career in medicine, first attending NYU School of Medicine, then pursuing a residency in general psychiatry at NY Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell) followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Tobkes is thrilled to be a part of the leadership team at Curated Mental Health and is passionate about expanding access to cutting edge treatments in the field of psychiatry and psychedelic medicine.
He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and working collaboratively with Curated’s team of compassionate clinicians.

I had a virtual visit and Dr. Tobkes. He has a great presence and a calming, professional voice. He also exhibited empathy throughout the entire session. He maintains excellent eye contact, especially when he was asking questions, which really made me feel that he cares. And he did not ask too many “standard questions”. He was very concise and to the point, keeping the appointment within the allocated time. He was very skillful at bringing me back on track when I rambled. I am impressed by how smoothly the conversation flowed. In addition, the angle and distance of the camera made me feel as if I was there in person. Of all the experiences I have had with mental health providers, this one stands out in the best way. I wish I found him sooner. The whole experience was just outstanding. I would highly recommend Dr Tobkes’ services.
