Dr. Heather Leslie-Brown is a board certified obstetrician / gynecologist. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her undergraduate education at Howard University in Washington DC, medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
She has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for 11 years having worked in various practice settings in Virginia, New York and North Carolina. She served as Clinical Instructor from 2002 to 2006 in the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program in Syracuse, NY.
In the summer of 2007 she moved to the Charlotte area with her husband and daughter and worked part time while caring for her young child. She has practiced full time for the last two years in Monroe, NC and has now decided to open her own practice, Brown’s Women’s Care, PA to provide a more technologically advanced but personal private practice to care for the women of Union and neighboring counties.
Dr. Leslie-Brown has an interest in low and high risk pregnancy care, laparoscopy, female urinary incontinence, and minimally invasive treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, female incontinence and female sterilization. She is welcoming new patients.

I loved the doctor and the interns but the staff is terrible. I had blood work done over a month ago and I still haven't received any information on results, yet my insurance was billed. I called and left a voicemail and asked for a return phone call and blood work results and still have yet to speak with anyone. The initial visit, they scheduled me on a Monday and my appointment request included that I wanted an ultra sound so I drove 45 mins to the appointment to find out they didn't provide ultrasounds on mondays... Zocdoc provides offices with patient phone numbers, yet the front desk told me they had no number on file to get ahold of me to tell me this important information. I drove all the way back to the office the next day and got my blood work done on Nov 28 and still have not heard from anyone. Very unprofessional of the staff's part. Maybe if the doctor had different people taking care of her business, they'd be a 5 star practice.

This was one of the worst patient experiences that I've ever had. I walked into the office to check-in and a man was yelling/arguing on the phone in one of the office so close to the waiting room that everybody could hear. Next, the process was inundated with technology. At first blush, technology should make patients and providers happy but it made the visit extremely impersonal. Not to mention the check-in device tried to sell me medicine after completing the form. With the use of an ipad during the visit, the nurse sat on the opposite side of the room barely connecting with me, head stuck in the ipad, and running through a very lengthy list of questions. When the Doctor Leslie came in. She also had an ipad which she was so absorbed into entering information into rather than connecting with me the patient. Furthermore, not once did she try and get to know me on a personal level, This problem was made worse by the fact that it was my first time at the office and patients like that personal connection with their doctor. When giving my diagnosis she used words such "I think" "I'm not sure" while also actively searching for solutions on her ipad. I paid money to visit a doctor to get such an unsure answer. Lastly, there was no type of patient satisfaction elements the visit. The waiting room and patient room were void of magazines, tv's, etc. You were left to sit at the wall while waiting for the doctor...who wasn't on time. I will never go back to this office for a visit. It was awful.

Danielle - one of the nurses up front was rude on more than one occasion. When I arrived, when I was leaving and when I called back with a simple question. Besides that, my visit seemed thorough. The phlebotomist was very, very sweet and kind.
