About Dr. David George
My deep interest in science and genuine curiosity about people created a natural path to medicine. What I find most fulfilling about this field is its diversity, from the range of conditions to the relationships built with patients from all walks of life. Surgery captured my attention early on, and OB-GYN has given me the opportunity to combine that surgical passion with meaningful, long-term connections with my patients. My approach to patient care is straightforward: I treat every patient as I would a close friend or family member. That means thoughtful planning, a tailored experience and a genuine effort to make sure each person feels comfortable and heard. At Novant Health, we believe that good care starts with a welcoming environment and a plan that reflects each patient's unique concerns. My goal is for patients to leave our office feeling confident in their care and assured that their questions and worries have been taken seriously. I served as OB-GYN department chair at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center from 2024 to 2026, a role that deepened my commitment to team-based care and clinical excellence. I was honored with the Castle Connolly Top Doctor award, a recognition I am proud to have received.
