Dr. Muehler is a skilled professional and and does a great job explaining how my eyes are doing. She also answers my questions in detail and makes sure I have them all answered. She does not make me feel like she is rushed to get through the appointment.

Dr. Muehler received her bachelor's degree in biology from Moorhead State University in Minnesota and earned her optometry degree, and a second bachelor's degree in visual science from the Illinois College of Optometry. She completed clinical rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute, White River Junction Veterans Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and with honors at Johns Hopkins Eye Institute.
Her training included rehabilitative care for low vision patients and emphasized the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and treatment of ocular emergencies. Dr. Muehler previously had an independent practice in Lacey where she performed comprehensive, pediatric, and contact lens examinations, pre-operative and post-operative cataract examinations, and co-managed refractive surgery patients.
Dr. Muehler is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. She and her husband, Kirk, live in Olympia.

We arrived at the clinic around 145 to check in and was not called back to the screeing room until 230. after the initial screening and testing were done had to wait about 30 minutes just to be called back to the exam to see the doctor. The doctor was great. She did her part of the exam and gave us the new percription in about 10 minutes.

Excellent! The facility, the greeter Robyn (Robin...?), the registration expert Caitlyn, Randi, and I forget the name of the young lady who worked directly with Dr. Meuhler... Were all efficient, expedient, yet attentive to my questions & concerns. A very pleasant experience at Clarus Eye Care Center in Lacey, WA. Thank you!

The whole experience was very good. After check in I was called within a few minutes. I was given the basic eye tests. I then had to wait a few more minutes but there is coffee and snacks available if you want them. I was then able to sit down and order glasses immediately afterward. The whole staff seemed friendly and caring.

Dr. Muehler was great. I was annoyed that even though I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment, i wasn't seen until 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. The optical center was really unfriendly and didn't seem interested in helping me find a pair of glasses. I wondered around for about 10 minutes trying on glasses and not once did any of the three employees working in that area say a word to me. I'll buy my glasses from a business that will actually acknowledge me and appreciate my business.
