Michelle Durham, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2005. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, at Southeast Missouri State University. Her special fields of interest include primary eye care, contact lenses, and treatment of eye disease. Dr. Durham's career in optometry began with her desire to help people, along with her love and fascination with the eyes. She believes patient education is very important, and she enjoys helping her patients understand their eye care needs and what will benefit them the most. She particularly values the lasting relationships she builds with her patients and the opportunity to treat each of them like they are her family. Dr. Durham and her husband are the busy parents of teenagers, a daughter and son, who are heavily involved in sports. While her free time may be limited, she enjoys CrossFit and snow skiing whenever she can get up to the mountain.
