Dr. Heather Mays Richmond attended college at Yale University where she graduated in 2002 cum laude with distinction in her major of molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. During her third year as a medical student at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, she was initiated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In 2007, she graduated in the top 10% of her class with distinctions in both service and research. She went on to complete her internal medicine preliminary year internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from the University of Texas at Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Spring of 2011 after she completed her dermatology residency there. Dr. Richmond is trained in medical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and cosmetic dermatology and treats patients of all ages with a broad range of skin conditions. Dr. Richmond is board certified with the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Texas Dermatological Society, as well as the Houston Dermatological Society.
