About Dr. Yu Wang
Dr. Yu Wang, MD, was born in China and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He began his academic journey at Hunter College, where he earned a degree in History and English Literature. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Wang worked in the New York fashion industry, gaining valuable insights into aesthetics and design. His passion for helping others led him to return to school, where he earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University.
Dr. Wang completed his internship at Mather Hospital and a research fellowship at Cornell University, where he focused on nail pathology. He then went on to complete his dermatology residency at Wake Forest University, where he developed a special interest in hair loss treatment. Throughout his career, Dr. Wang has published over 30 articles in leading dermatology journals, contributing to the field’s ongoing advancements. His clinical interests include atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, hair loss, cosmetic dermatology, auto-inflammatory skin conditions, skin cancer, and many more.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Wang is particularly passionate about working with the Asian communities around Houston and addressing their unique dermatological needs. His diverse background and cultural sensitivity allow him to connect with patients from all walks of life.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Wang enjoys weightlifting, traveling the world, and spending time with his dog. His multifaceted life and dedication to dermatology make him a compassionate and driven healthcare provider.

Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I waited about 20–
25 minutes before I was seen, and from the moment I arrived, the overall energy in the office felt off and I did not feel particularly comfortable. Once I was seen, I also felt very rushed, which made it difficult to fully explain my concerns or ask the questions I had.
Most importantly, I left feeling like many of my questions were not really answered and that I did not have the clarity or reassurance I was looking for. I was genuinely very upset after the appointment because I expected to leave feeling informed and comfortable with the plan moving forward, but instead I left feeling frustrated and uncertain. Overall, this was not the experience I was hoping for

I had a little trouble finding the office so I was slightly late but they checked me in and still saw me right away. Dr. Ho was very informative and patient. He helped me understand what was going on with my feet/ankles/legs and provided very easy solutions to help alleviate the issue. It was a good appointment overall and would highly recommend to everyone!

The wait time was almost no time, the office is really nice and clean and everyone was friendly. Dr. Wang checked my issue and explained the solution as well as recommendation I asked for best Vit C and retinol for my skin type . I was in and out in less than 40 min with great solution .

Sometimes going to the dermatologist can make you feel unheard or rushed but Dr. Wang was very nice and actually listened to concerns! He addressed all of my issues and also explained treatments thoroughly. 10/10 and I will be returning
