Intrigued by Medicine since childhood growing up in the midst of Physician family members & friends, Dr. Farag credits the guidance of her parents for instilling the self-confidence & strong work ethic that has manifested itself in her personal touch & dedicated approach to compassionate personalized care for each of her patients.
Dr. Farag enjoys sharing in each patient's journey. She enjoys the challenges that come with caring for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to menopause. "It is gratifying to know that I can make a positive difference in someone's life. Sharing in the Miracle of life from conception to birth is a unique opportunity that as an OB/GYN, I can experience again & again with many of my patients.
My Mission is to take the time to get to know my patients and educate them about their health & body so that they feel empowered & able to make decisions about the direction they want their healthcare to go in with my guidance. From preventive care to advanced surgical interventions, each patient is given the time they need to fully understand their plan of care. As a mother & wife, I feel I can relate to many issues that my patients face. I treat each patient as I would my own family member.
Dr Farag has been in Private Practice in Southern CA since 1997. After receiving a degree in Chemistry and Languages from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Dr. Farag returned to NJ to be closer to her family for Medical School & Residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In her Residency, she was recognized for excellence in Student & Resident teaching, as well as compassionate care, & was assigned the Chief Resident position. Dr. Farag has continued to be involved in Resident teaching & has served on several hospital committees.
