A native of Michigan, Dr. Heh Shin Kwak attended the University of Michigan, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science. She continued her education at the University of Michigan, later graduating from University of Michigan Medical School in 2005, during which she completed a research fellowship with the National Institutes of Health. She then completed a transitional year at MacNeal Hospital outside Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kwak fulfilled her residency at Stanford University Department of Dermatology, serving as Chief Resident 2008-2009.
When not in the office, Dr. Kwak enjoys cooking, baking and exploring activities in the great outdoors of her new home in Oregon. She enjoys rock climbing and hiking with her husband.
