He then completed an internship and three-year medical residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, followed by a three year OB/GYN residency at New York Medical College. Dr. Hamilton is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is fluent in English and Spanish and we have full time staff members fluent in Russian, Italian, and Greek. During my consultation, he didn't really let me know that he was going to perform an ultrasound. He just went ahead and did it..in which I inferred via the screen and large instrument inside of me, that that's what he was doing (I've never had a ultrasound before). Also, even though on my chart it says I have a latex allergy, he had a latex condom on the scope for my next procedure. I had to remind him as he was about to quickly continue with the procedure. His consultations are very fast paced, and he doesn't really explain his intentions. He just does... it can make someone feel really uncomfortable if they are not used to that "clinical" of a manner. Also, he kept getting stuck in surgeries, so I'd either have to reschedule or wait nearly an hour in a gown.

Dr. Hamilton was very good at answering any questions. He tends to be more "chill" about things as it relates to pregnancy (e.g. eat fish, do whatever), which I'm not sure if my mom agrees with but a good perspective. The office was a change from Kaiser who I used to have in that things are more "manual". Will have to visit more to really know. One thing I did not like is that they listed many open appts on ZocDoc but the Doctor's office called later and said actually none of those are available. I wish they'd sync with the system more and not "trick" people into booking thinking it's available only to find out it's not really.
Two nurse practitioners I saw today had awesome bedside manners. They made me feel really comfortable and seemed to care about the patient a lot.
I truly hope my experience here was an anomaly, but my appointment was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable from start to finish. I did not have a good experience with a single staff member here. The staff rescheduled me twice (so much for the convenience with ZocDoc), then had me come in when Dr. Hamilton was about the leave the office. Because of the rush, I was asked to sign off on privacy documents without actually receiving the documents - front receptionist was understanding when I refused to do unless she could produce the documents, but ran into my room while I was undressing to get my signature (this time she did have the documentation, but did not allow me time to read any of it). Time with doctor was very short and very uncomfortable. When scheduling the appointment, I had specifically asked on 2 separate occasions for a consultation on going on the birth control pill (as I'm planning to use them for the first time). At the appointment, I got absolutely no guidance on pill options, side effects, or usage instructions. The only advice I received from the doctor was to use the Atkins diet to combat weight loss while on the pill.

I just found out I am pregnant with my second child. After my experience with Dr. Hamilton, Georgette and the whole team, for my first child (now 19 months old), there was no question who I would trust this pregnancy to!

He is clever, attentive, and caring. He uses the latest technology - the ultrasound machine was amazing. I was quite impressed. I have seen many doctors because I have endometriosis but none were able to help me as well as Dr. Hamilton.
When I have my test done, NP don't seem to review the result with me each time. I wonder do they even look at my record before they come in to the room. It makes me feel uncomfortable and worry.
Wow......a doctor that is actually interested in getting to know you and will spend time with you. After one appointment, I already feel much more comfortable with him than I ever did with the doctor who saw me through my entire first pregnancy. It's more than obvious that he cares about his patients and making them comfortable through the whole experience. Even the office is beautifully decorated and makes you feel like your sitting in the lobby of a tropical hotel vs a stuffy doctor's office.

One of the fastest pap-smears I've ever had! Routine trans-vaginal ultrasound replaces the usual poking & prodding to feel for abnormalities. Asked multiple times if I had any questions for him, which I didn't. First ob/gyn to not make me cry when discussing my family history of cancer.
I usually see Dr. Hamilton but for this appt, I saw Dr. Levine. Both doctors (and staff) get 5 star ratings from me. Love the new space and everyone is so nice and attentive.
