Being a healthcare provider is deeply rewarding as it allows me to make a positive impact on people's lives. The ability to address people's healthcare need brings great fulfillment and purpose to my work.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
As the first point of contact, a primary care provider plays a central role for a patient. Primary care providers build long-term relationship with patients, allowing them to understand patients' overall healthcare need, both physical health and behavioral health needs. The goal is to promote the overall health, prevent illness, and manage ongoing medical conditions.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy gardening, which helps me to relax. Spending time with my family and playing with my dog are also some of my favorite things to do.
