It was great! My husband had to see a GI doc ASAP! and thanks to the nice lady at the reception, we were able to see the Dr. My husband was a new patient, I called in the morning and we saw Dr Makipour the same morning. Dr Makipour was very nice, friendly, knowledgable. My husband who really doesn't like going to the doctor, had a nice experience with doctor Houshang Makipour and his whole staff. We will see him again in a month. :-)

A very unprofessional office! I do NOT recommend them!
Don't bother filling out your ZocDoc forms - they don't actually accept anything from ZocDoc, but list it so they can get you in the office.
The doctor didn't even pay attention to my concerns on the first visit, but scheduled me for an outpatient procedure anyway after a conversation that lasted less than 5 minutes. The evening before the procedure, the office called me with a surprise charge of hundreds of dollars and gave me one hour to come up with it. When I said I couldn't afford it, they said I would be charged a fine of the same amount if I didn't pay, even if I opted to not have the procedure.
The day of the procedure, I had to wait more than an hour after my appointment time and they put something I am allergic to on my body more than once, even though I listed it on three separate forms. When I told the nurse, she said I wasn't actually allergic, I'm just "Scandinavian pale". A week later, I show her the marks still on my body and she again tells me that I am just pale instead of allergic and that those marks just appeared a moment before from the blood-pressure cuff.
I called to see about my results and they said it would be two weeks until they knew. I told them I would not be in the area in two weeks, so they suddenly "found" my results, but wouldn't tell me until I came in. When I show up, they ask for another expensive copay for a 2-minute conversation with the doctor who tells me the same thing I told him on the first visit when he would not listen.
This office was incredibly rude and condescending, and clearly just tried to get as many appointments out of my insurance as they could. It was a waste of time and money to go here and all I have left are scars and marks on my arms from their negligence in actually reading the "Allergies" sections of their own forms. I cannot in good conscience recommend this office to anyone and wish someone had warned me before I made the first appointment.
