Dr. Howard Friedman has been practicing Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine since 1989. He is a graduate of SUNY-Downstate Medical School and completed his pediatric training at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as Chief Resident.
He subsequently completed an Asthma and Allergy fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Babies Hospital in New York City. This duality allows him to combine his expertise in allergy and asthma in the care of his pediatric patients.
Dr. Friedman is board certified in pediatrics and adolescent medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is married with four children. Dr. Friedman has been named by New Jersey Family as one of NJ's favorite Kids Docs.

The whole practice is thorough, kind, knowledgable, and timely. I switched from a another pediatrician and couldn't be happier. The receptionists and nurses are also always smiling and doesn't seem bothered by any questions you may have. A+ experience with all three doctors.

I thought it was great up until check out! I asked in the room if I could have a copy of my daughter's records for school. I was told by one of the nurses that she wasn't sure, but to ask. When I did ask, I was given a huge attitude! I was asked several times who told me to ask. When I asked why she wanted to know, the woman said "because I want to know which of the two nurses is your friend and volunteered me to make copies for you, she can come do it for you." I was appalled! I have never met anyone in that office before. All I asked was for a copy that is required for school. I was told very rudely that I had to copy it myself! In the 4 minutes she spent grilling me about who told me to ask for a copy, she could have gotten off of her lazy rear end and taken 30 seconds to make me a copy. The customer service was horrible! I will not be returning. It's a shame because I thought the nurses and the doctors were excellent. One of the other doctors even came in and introduced himself. It's a shame!

Dr. Freidman has shown me that he loves what he does. My experience with doctors is usually just them going through the motions. Dr. Freidman is present, enthusiastic and easy to talk to.
I had to see Dr Friedman on a weekend when he was the covering doctor for my pediatrician. I had all my sons records transferred shortly after meeting him.
