About Dr. Gunjeet Sahni
Dr. Gunjeet Sahni is a pediatrician and Director at the FW Comprehensive Medical Care, New York. She is also an Instructor in Clinical Pediatrics at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York and works as a hospitalist in the Pediatric Emergency room. She is affiliated with NewYork Presbyterian Hospital and Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Sahni received her medical degree from Goa Medical College, University of Bombay, India in 1988. She underwent residency training in Dermatology at the same institution and further obtained a Masters in Dermatology in New Delhi, India. She immigrated to United States shortly thereafter and received Pediatric residency training at Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2012 she was named as a Top Pediatrician in New York in the Leading Physicians of the World by the International Association of Pediatricians.
Dr. Sahni has been treating patients in New York City and neighboring communities for over nine years, and provides full range of state of the art pediatric services from newborn period to late adolescence. These include regular annual physicals, vaccine administration, school and sports related physicals, and sick consultations for common pediatric problems such as upper respiratory tract and ear infections, sinus problems, asthma and sleep problems. She is well versed with most recent advances in treating children with special needs and her office is well equipped to meet all their needs. She speaks English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, and Punjabi.
