I like dr Howard Hertz , very knowledgeable. The office can get very busy. He sometimes will converse with you but if busy he will talk for a minute while renewing prescriptions then leave. I have used other physicians in his office and was very satisfied

Dr. Howard Hertz has been in private practice since 1983 and has maintained attending privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital throughout that time. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University. Dr. Hertz was selected by the Consumers Research Council of America for inclusion in the 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 editions of Guide to America's Top Physicians.
He is fluent in Spanish, German, and Italian. Dr. Hertz has a lifelong passion for the arts, especially classical music, and has been a professional pianist for over 25 years.
Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of The American Friends of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and on the Board of Governors for the Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt Institute. Dr. Hertz is also a resident member of the Metropolitan Club of New York City.

When I had COVID I was seen in office had a simple question when I got home was told they don’t call back must make appointment. I sat in office for almost 2 hours to be seen. Few months later booked an appointment with zocdoc arrived on time was told they don’t use this website I then asked if any availability today was told no didn’t even bother to ask why I was there or a simple I’m sorry. Finding a new doctor.

Made an appointment on zocdoc an app on their website. Arrived at the office checked in and waited . Called to the desk to ge told I had no appointment. Zocdoc doesn’t work with their system and the physician wasn’t a cardiologist he was a PCp only and doesn’t arrive till 12 and my appointment was at 9:30 . The young lady was rude and unprofessional

Dr Hertz is awesome. The office can be very busy because of this. So be prepared to wait. Also may want to make sure when you check in at kiosk at the front desk, that your name did go thru otherwise you can just sit there and no one will check in with you.

First of all I make my appointment for January 7 and they change for January 30 then I arrived at doctor office at 11:45 and I see the dr around 2:45 so my visit at the Dr wasn’t to good,I’m thinking switch Dr for next time.

Waited over an hour and a half without being seen. This practice is notorious for long wait times and I'm a returning patient so I am aware that I will have to wait after arrival. But while I appreciate being able to be seen when I'm sick, the wait times have exceeded what is reasonable. Never been unhappy with the treatment, office staff, etc, but the wait times have gotten out of control.

Great office, great staff and all great doctors. I have seen Dr. Hertz and most recently Jocelyn I believe and they are amazing. I usually get a same day appt and that helps me a lot since it avoids an Urgent Center visit. Had my yearly physical in February 2018 and they did a lot of tests, a lot more than my previous doctor did.

Anyone looking for a doctor need not go any further than here. Dr. Hertz is not only the best doctor I know, but one of the smartest and most caring people I know. His office is immaculate and many of the tests that you may need can be done under the same roof. I have been a patient of his for many years and now my entire family, including my children and my in-laws, are patients of his or his son, Jared. The PAs, Ryan and Enbal, as well as Nurse Jackie, (studying to be a Nurse Practitioner), are also top-notch!
I unequivocally recommend the Babylon Medical Practice!!!

Dr hertz was nice when I would go to apps but last week the office messed up my husband's diabetes medicine.almosr 2 weeks of pharmacy trying to get his office to get the sent for approval. The lady Veronica was so rude to the point I yelled at her to put Someone who knows what their doing on the phone.finally Linda got on a said to come in and get samples for now. Next thing my husband who didn't even yell got a letter as long with me saying dr hers will no longer be our doctor.my husband called to talk but he was put on hold 20 min each time he called. Finally a receptionist called back and my husband said can we fix this? I didn't threaten or curse. I just told Veronica she has no idea how sick my husband is and he c a nt miss his meds. The lady said no. Once it's broke it's broke. They are very rude.many times my elf and my daughter sat in the waiting room listening to those ladies talk about patients maybe dr hertz should pay attention to his rude receptionists

While Dr. Hertz is wonderful, I do not recommend his practice at all. I waited over two hours at my last appointment. While Dr. Hertz is very pleasant, none of his staff are. The receptionist was extremely rude to people who were calling the office while I was there waiting. The nurse who brought me back initially didn't even say hello to me. Also, the office did not bill my insurance company correctly for some non-routine testing (according to my insurance company) that they did and it took 8 months and a letter to me from a collection agency for them to admit they had made a mistake and coded the tests incorrectly.
