Howard Holtz was Chief Medical Resident at University Hospital at UMDNJ - Newark in 1984. Dr. Holtz completed a United States Public Health service commitment in an under served health manpower shortage area in Newark from 1984-1987. He served on the UMDNJ teaching faculty until 1991 when he moved to Saint Barnabas Medical Center to become Associate Chairman of Medicine. At Saint Barnabas, he founded the Faculty Practice. In 2002, Dr. Holtz established a full-time private practice at his current location.
