Dr. Reinglass was amazing! He is very knowledgable and will answer every question you may have. He is extremely thorough. His staff was not the friendliest unfortunately, and the wait was a little longer than I would have liked. But Dr. Reinglass was worth the wait!

I came to an appointment for my 6 year old daughter, first time at that practice. First we were seen by the technician for a series of eye tests - no offense but his bedside manner could really use some work.My daughter if very chatty and adorable but he completely ignored her and didnt respond to any of her questions. Then the Dr - Howard Reinglass walked past us in the waiting room while the eye drops were taking effect - he made an impression instantly, making a nice remark to my daughter and being ever so friendly. He is incredible with kids (and adults too!) Made the whole visit (and the wait) all worthwhile. I would definitely continue with Dr Reinglass and highly recommend him. A very pleasant, witty and charismatic man who will make your child feel that having an eye exam is fun!

The Dr was great. However, I really didn't care for the office. It was predominantly Hispanic. Every front desk employee was spanish speaking. I'm an Afro American. There we're no Afro Americans working there. For that reason, once I pick upmy son's glasses, I will never patronize that business again, nor will I refer to anyone else.

My son actually got to see Dr. Reinglass. We waited for 45 minutes then when I went up and asked how much longer it would be the ladies at the front told me another 40 minutes. I think it's very unprofessionalto keep your patients waiting for that long. It's very apparent the doctor doesn't schedule his patients properly because if he did no one would be waiting over an hour. If you're taking an hour with each patient then schedule appointments for an hour so the next person isn't waiting. It's really not difficult. Anyway, it was a bad experience and now I have to try to get an appointment elsewhere so I can get my son's eyes examed for school.

Dr. Reinglass's office was bustling even when I arrived just after its opening. His technicians were helpful but could be gruff at times and didn't seem interested in being in the office. Dr. Reinglass's bedside manner was good and he helpedme to understand exactly what would be covered by my insurance. Despite the busy office environment I would recommend Dr. Reinglass as an ophthalmologist.

Horrible Place. Initial appt was cancelled by the docs office, only to show up at the new time & then have to wait a whole hour just to be seen. Half hour in, while sitting in the waiting room, an ignorantwoman walks in & sits down & starts yapping on her cellphone, having an EXTREMELY loud conversation while it's on SPEAKERPHONE the WHOLE time??? & no one at the desk or in the office, asked her to quiet down or at least take her conversation out in the hall. So, as this is going on, (for well over a half hour), a woman named Mona, FINALLY came & got me, asked me some questions, had me look through some lenses, put drops in my eyes, never explaining what they were, and told me they'd call me back into the room in 20 mins. In the HOUR it took for them to call me back in,(i'm now there an EXCRUCIATING two hours, I experienced a bad headache & blurred vision because they dilated my pupils. The doctor, very quickly looked into my eyes, wrote a script for glasses and that was it. I asked him "what about my eyeglass exam? Turns out, the Mona person, who is NOT EVEN a Doctor, was the person who did my eyeglass exam & filled in what the prescription was, NOT the Doctor. When I questioned him on this, he became defensive & said " I don't do the eye exams, my nurse does". HUH? Then, he tells me that because of my insurance, my glasses will take 4 months to get when the REASON I went there was because mine broke. I asked him what to do in this situation & he tells me, "You can buy them from me out of your own pocket. In THAT case, they'll be ready in 72 hours" SERIOUSLY? I drove my car there because I THOUGHT I would be able to run some errands afterward, & I walked out nearly BLINDED by the intense light of the sun (they offered no temp sunglasses or recommendations to bring a pair) with a severe headache, not able to drive my car back home, & had to walk back because despite the fact that I made the appointment & they KNEW they do this test with all new patients, they never once told me to bring someone with to drive back home. They never gave me any info on how long my eyes would be dilated either & it's been over 12 hours and they are still not back to normal. This place really was a huge disappointment for me. I was thrilled to learn there was an eye care building near by, only for it to be your typical run of the mill, cram in all the welfare patients they can get in per day, dump. No desire to provide any intimate, detailed information to the patients, just get them in, move them out, & get paid. End of my story is, I walked out of there with having had my pupils dilated without even telling me what they were doing, wasting 21/2 hours of my time getting an eye exam that wasn't even done by the doctor, & never even got the glasses I went there for in the first place. I explained to the doctor that I couldn't wait 4 months for new glasses because I CAN"T SEE, & that I couldn't afford the inflated priced garbage he had available, & that I would find them way cheaper online. Even after having told him this, he didn't even fill out the script properly for me to be able to fill out the information needed to buy them online either. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you can. I know I'll never go back ...

Dr. Reinglass and his associates are very nice and easy to work with. They remember personal things about patients and ask them about how they're doing. When I saw the Dr. for the first time he wanted to know about meand chatted for awhile. The only "hiccup" was when I came in initially for my 8:30 appointment. Apparently my name wasn't in the system despite that fact that I booked through ZocDoc AND one one the nurses called me a day before I went in to get more info from me (so obviously I was confirmed). However, they made me a priority and I was starting my exam by 9. If you are looking for a speedy in-and-out, this isn't the place- I was there for 2 hours for an exam and to get glasses.

Dr Howard is great! His technician was a little Asian man named Vito. Also great. I thought Yesenia was unprofessional. Having a conversation, an 8-minute conversation with a man picking up his glasses, as her and I were picking out myframes. I'm not confrontational but that is a definite No-No in customer service. Customer Service is everything today. I know, It's my business.

You need to make sure you don't book an appointment during their lunch break. They do not notify you that your appointment is during their break and you could be waiting for up to an hour so call ahead to makesure. The staff was great and so was the doctor. Dr. Reinglass offered me interesting, research information about recent changes in my vision. After conducting a thorough interview and eye exam, Dr. Reinglass took considerable time with all my questions, I am impressed with Dr. Reinglass' ability to analyze my vision and present a logical program for strong improvement.

I made an appointment with Dr. Reinglass after reading his positive reviews, but at the end of the examination, I was a little thrown off guard by his response to one of my health concerns. First, he said I'd need toset up another visit and that he'd give me a brochure in the meantime (he never gave it to me, by the way). When I asked another question about the eye issue, he flippantly replied, "Look it up on the computer--I'm sure you know how," which I found really unprofessional and is what prompted me to write this review. Dr. Reinglass, I'm not the one with years of medical schooling to treat and provide care for patients; sorry if I was mistaken, but I thought you'd be a more reliable, understanding source. Even "there are a number of reasons why you could be experiencing what you described, so I suggest coming in for [an additional, comprehensive exam]" would've been appreciated. If you don't have time to adequately do your job, maybe you should decrease your number of patients to a manageable amount. Maybe Dr. Reinglass is supportive and delightful once you get to know him, but I'll never know, as I have no interest in seeking his "services" in the future.
