Great place office is beautiful. Friendly ppl.
Very helpful, informative & understanding!
My first visit. Referred by my PCP for for shoulder pain that an MRI revealed to be inflammation of the rotator cuff and tendons. Dr. Routman gave me his approach to treating 72 year old shoulders (conservatively), explained the steps he would take to resolve the problem to bring the joint back to a good, functioning 72 year old shoulder, beginning with a cortisone injection guided to the perfect spot with that morning's Xray. Once the inflammation is brought under control and the tendons no longer swollen, I'll be seeing Dr Routman as needed or for periodic checkups. The combination of his knowledge, his ability to share it in a calming, constructive manner, and his genuine warmth made me a fan and satisfied patient.
Dr. Routman rebuilt my husbands shoulder. He recovered quickly and is 100% pain free. While my shoulder issues are not as bad, I knew that Doctor Routman was the doctor to see! My appointment was informative and efficient. He explained the issues as well as treatment options, and took the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Routman!
My visit was very nice being that it was my first time. The front counter was very busy, need to be more attentive with the people who are coming in, however, they were very courteous. The doctor and his assistant were very prompt and nice. I was finally comfortable in a doctors office setting. The procedure given hurt, however, the assistant made me feel at ease and it was over in a matter of minutes. The check out staff was very nice as well. I would strongly recommend this office and would be glad to return for service.
Not the best visit... taken in 1/12 hours after my scheduled appt time. Though the Dr was rushed he listened and attended to my questions in a professional manner. He isn’t usually this late.. Chalking it up to a too busy morning. Still highly value his expertise..
He was very through kind and attentive to my concerns. Worth the slight wait ( which is normal in most medical offices esp at a later appt. time) sadly i need surgery, but i am excited that I've chosen Dr. ROUTMAN and look forward to writing another feedback afterwards!
The front desk was marvelous and the staff was well train. The waiting was just a bit long but everything went well. Very happy about the diagnosis from Dr. Routman and no surgery required. Recommended physical therapy! Got a shot and move on..
Very professional but also very approachable
He appears to be very knowledgeable. Takes time to listen, answer questions and address all relevant concerns.
Very efficient office. Didn't wait long. Came with all needed imaging. Was reviewed and first saw PA who examined me, a few minutes later doctor came in and stayed untill all our questions were answered. Felt very comfortable speaking with him. Office followed up as they said they would. Just have to decide what to do now.
Awesome experience professional and to the point
Dr. Routman is very knowledgeable and speaks in practical terms as to what's best for you.
Great visit--relieved I didn't need surgery! Was very professional and reassuring.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Felt listened to and a genuine concern for bringing me back to an optimum level of functioning.
Always caring and sensible in his treatment.
very complete answered question was straight forward about surgery and follow ups that would be needed. great bedside manner
I believe I got in as a last appointment of the day. It was approximately 45 minutes beyond my appointment time that I was seen. Examination by Dr Routman's PA, and then Dr Routman were pleasant and informative, but felt a bit rushed due to the late hour. As a seasonal resident who wasn't going to be in the area more than a month, I was generally satisfied. I believe if I needed to follow up with this practice were I staying in the area, I could have developed a helpful relationship.
Great service and great information. First appointment was today.
Dr. Routman and his PA where very informative about my condition and what is best treatment for me. The staff was were helpful in getting the paperwork and medication I need to go home. I'm looking forward in doing my physical therapy at the office.
First time with Dr. Routman!! Really liked him. Would recommend him to others.
I liked them very much. This was a first visit and as a medical malpractice lawyer I am a very sophisticated consumer of medicine so to speak period The office was very well organized, the people were extremely cheerful and Dr. Routman actually made me feel good, If you can believe that, and telling me what I thought was minor tendinitis was actually fractured condyle in my left elbow You could see his kindness and caring on his face Great guy and Obviously highly qualified
The PA, Nurse and of corse the Doc are great
The girls in office and PA were wonderful. Dr Routman answered my questions and was impressed with his "bedside" manner
when I was finally able to see the MD he was was able to give me a diagnosis and tell me what my options were in a professional and pleasant manner.I will continue to use Dr, Routman
Dr Routman reviewed my MRI & findings before he came in and throughly explained what my conditions were. He took the time to explain throughly and answer all my questions. He offered a few treatment options and explained the details of each of them. He and all of his staff were friendly, kind and professional. I felt comfortable throughout my appointment and procedures.
Can't write. Right hand surgery. He's a great guy and good doctor.
Very Nice Dr..... He Made You Feel, As Though He Really Cared... He Also Explained Things, in A Manner That You Can Understand (Since Patients Are Not in The Medical Field & Its Often Difficult, To Follow Along)
OUTSTANDING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THANK YOU!
Had to wait too long, but all professionals were competent and friendly.
Dr. Routman was very kind, caring and easy to talk to..he made me feel very comfortable. Hi office staff was personable, attentive and also caring. It's not everyday you come across a doctor you can give such high praises to. I am sure you will feel the same once you meet him and his office staff.
Very Pleased. Showed real caring.
He listened, made a plan. I am in good hands.
I felt very comfortable with the doctor. My fears were alleviated by the time I left . I am confident about the surgery.
Dr. Robin is very engaging and knows his stuff! I was very pleased. Thank you. Sandy Stewart-Triffon
In the future, please give me at least 48 hours notice if you have not received the referral from my primary care physician. I almost lost my 8:05AM appt that I made 6 weeks ago. My primary closes his office at 4PM and I was unaware that you never received my referral until the day before my appt when you phoned me at 4:30PM. Lucky for me that you finally received the faxed referral at 8:30AM while I was in your office, waiting to be seen. Just when you were about to cancel and reschedule me, you received the referral and I was able to see Dr. Routman, as scheduled.
He was great however, my appt wasn't entered. They had no record as I req via zocdoc. Sydney em won't be used again
Explained things well, and was receptive to alternative methods of treatment.
This man's ego gets in the way of being a decent Dr ...he is one of those Dr.s that want you to simply accept what he says with no debate.
I was most pleased with my visit....Dr.Frontman who I love....and I am looking forward to healing and improving each day.
Great Guy, very knowledgeable.
Dr. Routman is the upmost professional in his field; explains everything to the tiniest detail; and he welcomes all questions you have. From personal knowledge, his bedside manner is great. I would highly recommend Dr. Routman to anyone considering shoulder or rotator cuff surgery.
Dr Routman was very personable and answered all of my questions. He ever recommended giving physical therapy one more try before electing surgery.
Always professional, courteous, and truly listens and addresses the issues.
Too long. I waited about 15 minutes in the outer waiting room, was ushered into an examining room, and waited there at least 30 minutes.
Put mind at ease. Not in a rush to operate.
Only problem I had was the long wait time.....over an hour.
Dr Routman is the best. I felt that he fully understood & addressed my concerns, I would highly recommend him.
It was most reassuring.Dr. Frontman has a wonderful gift for listening.
Only say the Dr once prior to surgery so I cannot truly comment on any feedback for bedside manner. Each visit afterward was another person, not the Dr. Prepare to wait. Surgery was delayed hours and each follow up appointment has been over 40+ minutes
I appreciate how prepared He was with my history. I have confidence in diagnosis and ability .His office is extremely well appointed and clean.
He listens well and explains at a level appropriate for me to understand. I like him personally as well as respecting his abilities as a surgeon.
Medical ratings are hard these days, you can chose expedience (preferred by the provider) or any type of bedside manner (preferred by the patient). Sure I got in an out. The doctor and I were on completely different wavelengths of why I was there and he wasn't about to take the time to explain the difference to me. He quoted a statute about "no injury on an MRI, etc. then no pain". I was stupidly thinking he might have additional input on improving my injured shoulder. Clinical. That is the only word that comes to mind. I know, you can't fight progress. Well, all progress is not necessarily good. Any poser in a lob coat could have said the words the doctor said to me. He gently guided me toward the in-house pharmacy which provided me with 7 prescriptions and directions and a nice to see you. I could hear the coffers filling as they walked me through their mini-mint. One on the job injury and a year of watching the "system" grind on and I have all the answers I need to why heath care costs are out of control.
Ofice is very professional and well run. Although Dr. Routman could not treat my specific problem, he referred me to a collegue who specializes I treat my specific compliant.
I LOVE Dr. Routman! His knowledge and bedside manner are WONDERFUL! It is the wait time that is long....
Though I was seen by Dr. Routman's professional staff, I have to say they were excellent representations of his practice. Diagnosis, prognosis were addressed and I am more than satisfied with my treatment at Atlantis Orthopedics in Palm Beach Gardens.
Very personable, professional, knowledgeable...and got right to the problem! Adore him!
Dr. Routman is a great doctor. Some of his staff are super friendly and his PA is great as well. I felt that some were not as friendly though. The wait time today was rather long and I was very annoyed that people were walking in front of me and leaving while I was still in the waiting room. I had a 2:15 appt and people came for a 3:15 appointment and they went back to see MY doctor before I even went back. I was upset about that but, I will say he was worth the wait as the doctor was very interested in fixing what I had wrong and he did my surgery at JFK. This was another thing I was upset about because I was not told how to take care of myself afterwards and the post op paperwork was worthless along with instructions given to me by the doctors office. I will say I'm healing up very nicely and the doctor found exactly what was wrong which was a hard find. I highly recommend the doctor but, I feel that he could clean up the office a little bit and either train the employees better or find staff that is more helpful with his daily routine work.
He was very professional & answered my questions. I feel like I was not "disregarded" because I have "medicade" insurance. I will highly recommend DR. ROUTMAN !!
Dr. Routman and his assistant David were very informative about my condition. They answered my questions and suggested further treatment.
Dr Routeman was pleasant and professional answered all my questions. Great experience would highly reccomend him
Was very impressed with the office style, the professional manner of everyone. Dr. Routman was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Love the artwork, clever idea.
Very professional and understanding
Thanks to "susan " surgery" associate for settling it up .I was two hours early as it was my first visit and just planned to take a walk after my paperwork.Forgot who suggested I sit for a bit ,,,but I was seen by the doctor very shortly thereafter.
Doctor is very efficient and patient.
Even tho my visit with Dr. Routman was very short, I feel he looked at the xrays and spoke with the techs and made the referral to my primary and gave my husband and me thorough instructions. I would definitely recommend him to my friends
best doc out there. very professional, caring and understanding with total focus on my in jury and my requests.
Very impressed with Dr. Routman! He is professional, yet speaks in layman terms and gives real life explanations that are relevant and are easily understandable. He is caring and honest! We highly reccommend Atlantic Orthopeadics!
I saw the tech and heinjectedmy shoulder , This istheworst. Reaction I ever had. I cannot. Lift my arm or extend it. My chief complaint was only when I sleep I do hope that in a day or two it will return to normal. Unable to Put mtshirt on without the assistance of My. Left. Arm Not. a happy patient
Great office! Everything was perfect.
I find Dr. Howard Routman to be very kind and caring. He is my hero. He fixed my shattered shoulder! I also find all his staff to be excellent. His PA and PT personnel are great!
My wife brought my son to the first appointment with Dr. Routman when he broke his collarbone. I took my son to the second appointment. I appreciate the time Dr. Routman took with me to explain my son's injury and how it was healing from the beginning knowing that I was not part of his first appointment. It was clear that he repeated things he told my wife. He could have glossed over it and moved on to the next patient but he didn't. I would recommend him.
Excellent Doctor. Great staff. Have used Dr. Routman as a surgeon in the past and he did an excellent job .
Very nice clean office helpful and pleasant staff felt as tho the doctor didn't mind spending a few minutes with me and answered questions without rushing through.
Dr. Routman is the most talented surgeon and diagnostician.
My post surgery visit was excellent. My wait time was less than 15 minutes. All of my questions were answered. My next appointment was scheduled easily. Howard Routman, DO, took the time to meet with me and to comment on my healing progress. He made certain that I was comfortable with the continuing process of my healing, stating that I should not hesitate to phone if any concerns happen before my next appointment. Thorough and personable, he seems invested in his patients receiving the best possible surgery results, recovery care and follow up, including post surgery care. I have already provided excellent recommendations, to use the expertise of Howard Routman, DO, to others who need shoulder surgeries. My friends and family are surprised that my post surgery pain has been very, very minimal. Sincerely, James M.
Got x rays for elbow bursitis, then a man (maybe the radiologist) said I had a piece of bone floating in the fluid of the bursa and asked some silly questions. The Doctor did not mentioned anything about a piece of bone. Went for aspiration and cortisone but I did not receive any treatment. I was told to buy a sleeve in the internet and wait for the inflammation to disappear. Then a lady came to put me a patch and asked where was the pain.., I had no pain. No follow up was schedule. I am looking to see a sport medicine doctor capable to perform a simple remedy for my elbow bursitis. It was an odd experience, a waist of time and money.
I highly recommend Dr. Routman, he is an excellent doctor with a wonderful professional staff.
Dr gave me a though explanation of the procedure performed and what I could expect as far as a recovery. There was a computer glitch and the doctor was not advised I was waiting so I waited almost 40 minutes for him in the examination room.
HE WAS PLEASEANT TO TALK TO.,.GAVE ME HIS OPINON,& THE INJECTION,WAS EASY TO TAKE,& SEEMS TO BE WORKING,IN MY SHOULDER
Lovely office friendly staff. Dr. Routman is terrific.
He was very good; informed me well about the procedure and its history, how the scheduling would work and what to expect. He took time to answer my questions. Very nice man as well as highly regarded surgeon.
Dr. Routman was thorough, calm and reassuring. His staff is terrific, I highly recommend Dr. Routman.
Dr. Routman took the time (probably 20 minutes in total) to explain fully what he believed my condition to be and the treatment options he recommended. At no point did I feel rushed or brushed aside. He also wears a cool iwatch.
He was professional, seamed to know his business and made me feel very comfortable
He was well worth the wait!! Smart, kind, and invested the time to explain my options... Most painless shot of cortisone I ever received.. (And I had quite a few)..
Dr, PA an medical assistant were great. one staff member at front desk was quite rude to me though. over all good experience
My appointment was for 11:30 am. I was in a lot of pain. At 12:30 I was put in a treatment room where I waited for another hour before I saw the doctor. Never again!
As usual, very pleasant visit. As it was just a follow-up visit, there was just some conversation - no exam. He's very likable, pleasant, and knowledgeable,
Top notch physician/surgeon explains probable diagnosis, probable prognosis, suggested treatment, and probable duration of treatment needed. Answers questions so you can understand.
My visit was a nice experience. Very professional and what a beautiful office. The staff superb ! A bit of a wait but that comes with anything. Not a problem
Dr Routman was patient, understanding, re-assuring and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction,. He is skilled in his profession and I would recommend him to anyone needing this kind of surgery
Liked the doctor's approach to treating rotator cuff disease. Surgery is the last option if all else fails.
New my problem Pronto. Hope the shot works.
Totally awesome office and staff of Dr. Routman's. He is a wonderful surgeon.
Although Dr. Routman's appointment schedule seems to be overbooked, after I waited about an hour to be taken in to the inner office area, I was quickly seen by the necessary support staff. After my x rays, Dr. Routman came in and discussed my condition and the treatment necessary. I was treated and left the office almost two hours after I arrived. But the analysis and treatment seemed to be on target. Dr. Routman is not anxious to operate unless you, as the patient, feel it to be the answer to the pain. When you arrive for your appointment, be prepared to wait. Eventually, you will be courteously treated by the office and staff and receive a conservative approach towards treatment.
Waiting is not fun . Would rather weight in the weighting room in steed of office
He had to leave to catch a flight. I was his last appointment for the morning which was over a 30 minutes wait. He was very fast in and out, no time for questions. I would of rather had my appointment changed to a different day if possible so as to spend more than a few minutes with him.
Support staff friendly and courteous. Dr Routman gave me all the information as to my current condition and options for treatment.
I think Dr Routman was to quick with assessment and also quick to end the appointment when we still had questions. Also my son was referred to Dr Reiter MD and the person who scheduled my appointment told me Dr Reiter is not the shoulder specialist. I Was misinformed about Dr Reiter who came highly recommended by patients he currently treats as well as my orthopedic surgeon ..My son was a little upset when we left the appointment. MY son is in a lot of pain and we did not even get to discuss the possibility of having a anti inflammatory for him to help calm his inflammation.. I will be calling office to see what can be done for a anti inflammatory ..
Very Professional and patient friendly. Scientific Assessment.. provided immediate plan.
I was impressed with the amount of time the staff spent with me. Dr. Routman took the time to go over my injury and explain what is needed before he decides what the course of treatment will be after I've already had three surgeries which were unsuccessful.
The entire staff as polite, competent and professional. The facilities were immaculate and of the highest quality.
The doctor was very pleasant and friendly. And was professional and knowledgeable. He actually apologized for my wait time. He explained what was going on with my broken arm and what he would do and what I needed to do to help it heal.
The dr. took the time to asses all of my symptoms and address all of my concerns and explain his diagnosis thoroughly. It was overall a very good experience. The wait wasn't bad, only 30 minutes +\- on an apparently busy day from what I overheard from the staff.
I have to say that my appointment with Howard Routman was the worst...WORST visit that I have ever had with a Doctor. I would NEVER recommend him to anybody ! The absolute worst bedside manner I have ever had to deal with. .
Very professional. Like his attitude. Believe in his opinion and feel I could trust him with my upcoming surgery. Much different diagnosis than my previous one. Will be scheduling my surgery in the next few months with Dr. Routman.
The attitude of the receptionist was atrocious
He was very understanding and listens to your input. He also knows what he's doing in his field. I see him as the best doctor I have met.
The Dr. was extremely professional and very knowledgable. I am a physician and was referred by a colleague. I will be recommending Dr. Routman to my family and my patients.
Dr. Routman is an excellent surgeon. He takes his time explaining what to expect during your recovery. I would highly recommend him.
Wait time is the biggest issue, and sometimes he is impatient and doesn't listen to the patient. As far as the wait time goes, he is good but I think that too many patients are scheduled in a short period of time.
As usual professional, engaging (staff) , efficient, helpful
Made me feel at ease
The physician, Dr Routman, is wonderful, caring, professional and informative. The office staff, however leaves a lot to be desired
He is always very friendly. His office is always full but he will take as much as you need that day. He is personable and willing to discuss the details of what you require. I have recommended him to several friends.
we ARE MOVNG FORWATD TO A SOLUTION OF THE SITUATION
Got all information and discussed options to have the surgery done. Determined that we would wait until fall to have the procedure done after returning from Michigan..
After discounting the wait to see Dr. Routman, my visit was a positive one. Dr. Routman was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He also has a great personality!
I have been through the ringer wth other Drs and poorly mannered office staff and sad looking offices. I finally went to see Dr. Routman and he is wonderful! Everything about the experience, even making the appointment was pleasant. I went to the PBG location and it's so modern and clean, extremely well run, the staff is very attentive and kind and Dr. Routman made my day with good news and eased my concerns that were created by other sub-par "professionals". I work in the medical field and this was a magnificent experience-all things considered.
I love Dr. Routman, he's comfortable to talk with, He inspires confidence and he is no nonsense....gives you the straight goods!
Great Dr and office staff.
He is great. Very pleased.
Like the Doc a lot!
Dr, Routman is one of the very rare surgeons that truly care for their patients & greet them with a smile! He performed a rather difficult surgery on my shoulder & is so pleased (as I am) that it is so improved. He truly loves his work & it shows! :)
Very happy with the experience
thought he was great and very professional with a great bedside manner. Liked him very much Michael Wildstein
I had shoulder replacement surgery one week ago with Dr. Routman. Feel great little to no pain. Easier than rotator cuff surgery.
He did great work, I have very little pain following total shoulder replacement. He is nice, he is caring, and knowledgeable, His staff is also great
I am very pleased and confident with the doctor's knowledge, understanding, and treatment for the painful condition I presented today.
Very professional. Asked questions and listened to the answers. Explained what was wrong and why and how his treatments will help.
Dr. Routman was very professional, personable and compassionate. He explained several options to help my symptoms and problem!
He seems very knowledgeable. His explanation of my injury , surgery planned, and probable outcome was detailed and clear. I have complete confidence in Dr.Routman.
After waiting for 45 mins + Dr. Routman came in and was very pleasant. I was disappointed that he personally did not read my surgical report from my NY doctor nor examine my shoulder personally.
Dr. Routman was great gave me the information I need so I understood my shoulder issues The office did everything to help I'm very happy with my results
Dr was very attentive, listened and explained my options relating to my condition. Office staff left a lot to be desired. Most were not very professional. Also office will not bill your secondary, first office I've ever seen do this. Caused me to do PT elsewhere
Dr. Routman has performed 2 surgery's on my R shoulder, 1 through work comp, and the other because his treatment as a work comp physician was amazing. You fear any work comp doctor because there are so many that are on the side of the carrier, Dr. Routman was very thorough and compassionate. He made sure I was able to return to work without issues.
Very much appreciated his intelligence, focus and time spent with me. Made me feel cared for.
Great Doctor, explained all options and told me specifically what was going to happen. Explained procedure, down time and post op therapy time. Left me with a list of contacts for me if I had any questions. Also left me with a website that I could view the procedures he explained to me.
Nice office. Very pleasant staff and short wait time. Dr. Howard Routman was very nice and knowledgable and I am very confident that his diagnosis and treatment will make me as good as new!
I have known Dr. Routman for 11 years . He is the only shoulder Dr. I will use.
Dr. Routman and his team were Great! It was afterwards that became somewhat of a circus. I was coming in from 2 hours away and the Dr. tried to get me in for a CAT Scan with an imaging center in Jupiter. What a debacle! I drove to Jupiter, then told that I could only be seen at a hospital in West Palm Beach. So here I go on I-95 South. Thank goodness for GPS. As I was traveling on the busy highway I received a phone call from Dr. Routman's office telling me to go back to the original Jupiter imaging office. They would take care of me. So, here I go North again on I-95. When I get to the office I'm told again that the authorization is only for the hospital in West Palm. At this point I am very confused. Needless to say, I was unable to get the CAT scan the Dr. had ordered so I am still in limbo.
Great very informative....just confused about the work situation I have not worked since july 9th because of original injury .I am a cook and do very demanding work with my dominant right hand ....didn't know if I should return to work with anchor sticking out my bone?
Dr. Routman's passion for his work is a breath of fresh air. His enthusiasm makes my recovery that much easier.
Dr. Routman was delightful. He knew what the problem was immediately and described what needed to be done. Dr. Routman has a great personality and bedside manner.
Very professional and concerned about my ailment. Provided various options but, in the end, selected the one most beneficial for getting better. I liked that. By the way, hats off to a very accommodating and courteous staff.
The shot I was given in the left arm helped the pain go away. Now I'm having trouble with the right sholder. 12/11/15 Yours Truly Lucille T.
Excellent Doctor, Excellent Staff, Great Experience!
He was able to make a diagnosis for a problem I have had for two years that was not diagnosed by two other physicians.
Very concerned , caring and professional
Dr. Routman is the best doctor I have ever been to! He can diagnose you in an instant - and I have NEVER found him to be incorrect with anything he has ever said in any way. I feel that the man is a genius! I wish I could find every doctor to be as wonderful as he is. Dr. Routman is a real treasure. I came to him unable to move my arm in any way for fifteen years. I was told that I needed a total shoulder replacement but could not get one because I was too young. I would have to wait at least another ten to fifteen more years to be old enough to qualify. This wonderful man said to me ..."We have some options " Today, I have full use of my arm without any surgery and I am in love ( not amorously) with a married man! Harriet S.
Great doctor explained everything going on and offered the solutions and options
Dr Routeman provided clear explanation of the problem along with choices for treatment.
Dr.Routman operated on my broken arm, I needed a plate and 8 screws. I am 68 and consider myself active and love my yoga. I was concerned that I might need to slow up on my activities. I went to PT ( physical therapy) 3 times a week and consider his staff as professional and progressive. I continued my exercise program at home. I am 100% active with my normal activities. Dr Routman has the expertise to pave the path for successful results. I will be forever grateful to him and his team. Olivia D 11/17/15
Dr Routman was concise and efficient. He accessed my situation, determined he needed more information, immediately requested and obtained that required info and provided a diagnosis with prescribed treatment. I left feeling confident that we are on the right track.to heal my injury.
Great doctor, I liked the way he explained the process to get me back to 100%.
Overall a pretty good experience. Friendly staff.
He's my man! A BUSIER doctor does not walk the Earth but when he talks to you, there is no one else in the room—that's the feeling you get. I have had super good results from his O.R. work as well. But on top of that, he's just an all around good guy.
The office staff seemed stressed because of so many patients booked with the same or very close appointment times. The hands-on staff were friendly and efficient. Dr. Routman is very personable and I felt confident with his diagnostic recommendations.
I believe in Dr Routmans work and his over all demeanor. During. My last visit he left the room 3 times the last time David showed up. Gave a shot and left I thought we were to look at my left shoulder for planning ,I waited and then went to the desk where my paper work had been turned in. No note as to further appointments so it was left " if you need us, call us. Not sure how to check this
It was very short, as I anticipated. I met his top "man" and had xrays promptly, diagnosed promptly and discussed logically and understandably. The suggested treatment of an injection was agreed to by me. All was dispatched carefully and I was grateful for the ready attention. At my age of 90 years, I was thankful for the lack of listing alternative treatments. I plan to report for additional meetings.
This was my husband's first visit for an evaluation of his shoulder. He had a bicycle accident a week ago, and since his shoulder was giving him pain, his PCP recommended he see a shoulder doctor. We waited 30 minutes, but most of that was taken up with filling out new patient forms. The doctor was very personable, and had a good sense of humor, but also asked questions and did some examining to try to determine what was wrong with his shoulder, and the best course of treatment. We were pleased that he seems very conservative and didn't want to rush into having an MRI or talked of surgery, but referred him to physical therapy first, as he believes this is all he needs to get movement and healing going. We were pleased with his findings and treatment plan, and have confidence in his training and knowledge.
He is a great doctor. Very honest and down to earth. Just what i like in a physician
I was late arriving for my appointment, but the staff at the front was extremely helpful and quick to get me in. As for Dr. Routman and the examination, both were great. He checked my shoulder very thoroughly and made me feel as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. 10/10 would recommend.
Made my apt. thru ZocDoc, and received several confirmations from ZocDoc. But when I arrived at Drs. office they had never gotten word from ZocDoc. I was added into their schedule when I showed them the messages from ZocDoc. The wait was NOT the fault of the Drs. office, as they were gracious to fit me into their already full schedule. Their new office space is beautiful. Although I was added into the schedule, the staff were all gracious, and the Dr. spent all the time with me that I needed. The physician is very informative and helpful, and I would recommend him to anyone!
He was great and so was his staff. Would highly recommed
What a great doctor!
He's gracious and informative, but this is the second visit I've had with him, and I remain in chronic pain that greatly disturbs my lifestyle. He recommended physical therapy, which I'm now lining up, but I know that cortisone would ease that pain, and I've been given no explanation as to why I have not been administered that medication to reduce my swelling and my extreme discomfort. I'm scheduled to return in a month for another evaluation, and I hope that if my pain remains at that time I'll be treated for immediate pain relief.
This practice insists on a copay for 1st post-op visit. Elsewhere post-op is included in the the operation. It gave my a bad feeling.
Dr. Routman has a wonderful bedside manner - a great sense of humor. He took the time to fully explain my issue including reviewing my xrays with me. I would definitely recommend him for shoulder issues.
Dr. Routman was very attentive to my questions and gave me a very specific diagnoses. I would recommend him to anyone experiencing shoulder malfunctions.
He is a very confident young man. He explained every thing in a very simple and easy to understand manner. A sense of humor and a relaxed comforting personality is easy to take. More important I would say he knows what he is saying and doing. A perfect gentleman and doctor preceded by his good looks.
I was very impressed with the Dr. He allayed my fears and we had a great discussion. I look forward to seeing him again.
Excellent doctor, takes a lot of time explaining and very personable. I would recommend to anyone looking for shoulder surgery to talk with him very knowledgeable and lots of good reviews on him as well.
Let you know in 4 weeks if my elbow is better ?
It was very informative and personal. I am very pleased with dr. Routman and his staff, especially Susan.
So confident in his abilities-he was wonderful and explained and answered all my questions!!!!
It rare to have a doctor, let alone a surgeon, take time in post-op visits to continue the communication that is so crucial to an overall good outcome but that's what I have experienced with Dr. Routman. Big Thanks for the mutual respect and communication!
Dr. Routman is very personable, professional and pleasant. He is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him.
This is my third visit and I feel this is the first time he took alot of time with me to listen to how I was hurting and get the information he needed so he could figure out the next step. I thank him for that..
very pleasant and straight forward
Dr Routman is the best!!!!!!
office exam was extensive and through
Busy professional shares his time to explain what I have, what is the solution, etc. Thanks
Very satisfied, extremely professional!! Can't say enough good things about my appointment! The staff was excellent! I would recommend everyone to this practice!!
Dr. Routman diagnosed my problem and thoroughly explained the cause and the various cures. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to see him in the future, if necessary. He's very nice too, as was the staff who were professional and friendly.
Dr Routman is a wonderfull Dr, who cares about his patients.
The lengthly wait time was for the most part my fault due to a referal problem. Dr. Routman was a true professional as always and a very nice gentleman.
He was very nice but will find out more about what I need next week.
It was wonderful. He was very approachable, yet gave me the real deal on my prognosis I was extremely impressed with him,
I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!! DR. ROUTMAN PICKED UP ON A PROBLEM WITH MY RIGHT ARM THAT I AND A PREVIOUS DOCTOR HAD OVERLOOKED!! THANK YOU DR. ROUTMAN!!!!
The doctor spent a good deal of time carefully explaining where we have been, where we are going, and why, and what is expected from this procedure. It was all very personal and comfortably friendly. A true professional.
Dr Routman was very professional with his diagnosis and explanation of the MRI of my Rt Shoulder.
Dr. Routman was very personable, right to the point. Informative, and inspired confidence.
Dr Routman explained my condition very clearly and was extremely informative. He listened to my concerns an answered all my questions very well!
Dr. Routman did not spend much time examining me for acute shoulder pain. He quickly determined that my problem was not a shoulder problem, his specialty, and was over me and my problem. He handed me a cane with knobs and sent me on my way. Turns out I bought the cane which I can't use and don't want and did not prescribe medication for inflammation or for my considerable pain. He and his office have been unresponsive and indifferent to my pain and my completely unaddressed back/neck issue. I would not recommend him or Atlantis Orthopedics ever.
Very friendly and professional folks from the front desk to the X-Ray techs and the PAs/doctors.
The doctor was very friendly answer all my questions with a smell and I would recommend him to anyone with shoulder problems
Assessment of my problem was very thorough. Diagnosis and prognosis was explained in an easy to understand manner. All staff members were were pleasant, and attentive to my needs.
very professional and accomodating
I like dr Routman and hope what he recommends works to subside my arm pain!! The staff was very friendly and very helpful!! Thank you for a great experience!! Patti
The receptionist was not exactly friendly. I left for my appointment without my wallet so when I arrived at the doctors office I had everything needed except for my license. I had my insurance info, MRI, and also my daughter with her license. The receptionist was going to make me reschedule after I drove from Coconut Creek!! I asked to speak to the supervisor and she was very friendly and allowed me to proceed with my appointment. Not a great first impression....Thank god I asked to see the supervisor.
Everyone was very pleasant. I did the online check-in and think that many of the forma I add to fill out once I got to the office could have been included online. Would have saved a lot of time.
Dr. Routman is the only one I will see for the care of my shoulders. He gives you all of your options and helps you decide what action is best for you and your lifestyle.
Dr Routman is a real pro. I have seen two other Doctors for a shoulder injury and he was by far the most knowledgeable. He wants to avoid surgery if at all possible and emphasized that quite a bit. He has an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
I just Love his manner and true concern...
I found him very personable, knowledgeable and most caring.
very impressed w/ Dr. Routman. Pleasant, warm feeling. Explained alternate treatment, while leading me to the one he thought best as I made same decision. Recommended me to two infectous disease doctors. My results were less than satisfactory. I will follow up Monday. All others involved with me were extremely nice.
Visit was fine, within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. Dr is funny and keeps things light yet very informative. All my questions were answered.
Dr. Routman was knowledgeable ,articulate, and explained the situation very well. He offered good advice.
Very impressed and encouraged about his service.
My rating says it all. He gave me all my options and how they would affect my problem. He took a lot of time and listened to my concerns. I feel very confident in his evaluation and solution to my problem. His is the second opinion that I sought.
Best shoulder specialist ever! I am glad I found him
I was very at ease when I met Dr. Routman and found him easy to talk to and willing to listen. I will take the route he is suggesting for my care and go from there.
I was very pleased with his manner, & his explanations
It was quick and accurate.
Dr Routman is the BEST shoulder guy around!!! He is professional & has a warm bedside manor. He is easy to ask questions to & answers them to my total satisfaction. The check out process of payment & appointment making was a wait. This was my first experience waiting to check out so it was probably just a one time thing.
Best doctor in his field, Lucky to have him!
I liked Dr Routman's straight forward manner, reviewing the X-rays and my shoulder strength, then informing me of my probable options. He said that a CT Scan would show how much of the socket side bone was left to determine if a complete replacement could be done, assuming that there wasn't rotator cuff damage. I was also pleased to hear him say that he did shoulder surgery 100%. I am looking forward to the next appointment when the CT report has been reviewed.
When i met Dr Routman it was as if i had known him for a long time,i look forward to working with him and his staff in the up coming weeks.
Dr. Routman's office staff were courteous and efficient, always a plus when its your first visit to a new Dr. Dr. Routman took the time to review my MRI, not just read the summary provided with it. He clearly explained what was wrong with my shoulder and the options available for treatment. I have other complicating medical issues which he took into consideration before explaining his opinion for the best course of action. I am confident I will return to see him if I need further treatment
I was very impressed and comfortable with Dr. Routman and all of his staff - they were all professional, and caring! They came highly recommended to me, and I knew that if I ever had to have any more surgery - that I wanted their office to do it. Atlantis Orthopedic did my double knee surgery 4 years ago and they were amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone - and have! Thank you!!
The office visit was a good experience. Everyone from the front desk to the PA to the Doctor was professional, attentive and informative. I enjoyed the visit because I felt like a person and not a number. The time spent starting with Kory, who explained the online system, (thank you for the gift card) to the time with Dr. Routman was lovely. I appreciated the time the Doctor spent with me explaining what his findings where and my option for correcting the problem. I felt completely at ease with him. Anyone who has done 2,000 shoulder surgeries must know his craft.
SEEMS TO BE VERY BRIGHT AND CONFIDENT IN WHAT HE DOES..SPENT ALOT OF TIME TALKING QAND ANSWERING QUESTIONS PRIOR TO OPERATION ON SHOULDER.
He is amazing as always. He even showed me with explination my MRI on the computer. Bedside maner is the best!
Very personable a nice pre-op meeting
Everyone from the front desk staff to the physician's assistant, were professional, nice and all seemed happy!
Great, easy to talk to!
I appreciate that Dr Routman understands my journey is not easy and he is willing to be there to offer his professional and caring help, in the journey.
Wonderful! Explained well. Very friendly.
Very informative and thorough. Very friendly, comforting and competent. Made me feel I was in the best hands.
I would never go to a different ortho for my shoulder. Yes sometimes you may have to wait. But thats because he takes as much time as needed making sure all your answers are answered and you feel satified leaving the office.
The office was extremely efficient. Dr. Routman was very kind and generous with his time. He was very efficient and answers all our questions.
"Bedside manner" is an archaic term. Replace with "rapport" or "empathy" or just "manner". It was one hour or more before I saw the P.A., who stayed two minutes and then left to "take a quick look at your MRI". No. Don't take a quick look. Take a thorough look, discuss it with the orthopedist, have him look at it, then get back to me with a complete explanation.
Very good! Ordered test needed; will return for Review and treatment options next Week! Thanks
Very informational. I was in for a new pt appt on 6/26 and my wait time before seeing the Dr. Was about 2 hours, although he did apologize.
Great! Highly recommend.....I did have to wait but it's worth it....bring a book or something to amuse yourself if necessary. This wasn't really the norm....most times I am seen within a few minutes of appointment time. I actually won a customer appreciation gift card from an office pool.....really good customer service.
He is wonderful, listens and cares. Haven't had surgery but he tried to heal arm with braces and PT.
Everyone is professional and personally carin!
The office cannot really use the appointment-making feature of this website. So I had to call and schedule an appointment at a time that wasn't really convenient. I spent quite some time completing the requested information online but the office was not in receipt of the information by the time of my appointment so I had to arrive early to complete the forms, which meant I had to leave my job earlier than expected, not to mention complete the forms two times. I think that this website needs to interface with the office in a more realistic manner or the office shouldn't really use the website.
Great. Couldn't believe how quickly I got an appointment with him and how sweet everyone was. He was wonderful in explaining everything to me before I decided what I wanted to do with all my options.
Office is well organized. Attendants took vitals, then informed X ray technican that I was available, and went immediately into have the x rays performed. PA then arrived did the preliminary examination. Dr Routman arrived when reasonable time, and discussed reason for my being there. He then prepared the staff to organize the tests he wanted and sent me to scheduling.
very knowledgeable and professional. gave me a feeling of confidence,
Wait was too long but visit was excellent.
