Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), also called Physiatry, is the branch of medicine emphasizing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders – particularly related to the nerves, muscles, bones and brain. He offers medical evaluations, diagnostic imaging ultrasound, nerve conduction studies, cortisone injections for joints such as knees and shoulders, and spinal epidural steroid injections. He accepts most PPO plans, Medicare, Tri-Care, and accepts personal injury attorney liens. Affordable cash rates are offered and we offer payment plans. Dr. Waldman works with San Diego Chiropractic Group, an integrated medical and chiropractic practice. Our integrated practice provides chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, and medical procedures and evaluations. We offer diagnostic imaging ultrasound and nerve conduction studies, as well as digital x-ray. When needed, we use only non-narcotic pharmaceuticals, in keeping with a more natural approach to health care.
