About Dr. Nicole Ortiz

My practice is dedicated to helping patients find meaningful relief from chronic pain with most commonly treated areas being low back pain and knee pain. This is especially impactful for those who are not good candidates for surgery, want to avoid surgery, or have not improved with physical therapy and medications alone. As a physician specializing in interventional pain management, I focus on identifying the true source of pain and treating it with minimally invasive, evidence-based procedures designed to reduce pain, improve function, and help patients return to the activities that matter most to them. Many of my patients have been told they are “out of options” or feel frustrated after trying medications or physical therapy without lasting results. My goal is to offer thoughtful alternatives between conservative care and surgery. I take a personalized approach to every patient, recognizing that no two pain conditions—and no two people—are the same. Treatment plans may include advanced image-guided injections, nerve-based therapies, or other targeted interventions and medications tailored to each patient’s condition, goals, and overall health. Above all, my practice emphasizes education, transparency, and shared decision-making. I believe patients deserve a clear understanding of their diagnosis, realistic expectations for treatment, and a plan that aligns with their preferences and lifestyle.
