Dr. Humaira Khan is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has been practicing medicine in Fort Lauderdale for over 17 years. A trilingual physician who has lived and worked all over the world, Dr. Khan founded her clinic in 2001 and named it Intercare Clinic for her focus on international patient care as she speaks English, French, Spanish and Hindi/Urdu fluently.
An avid proponent of weight management as a key component of a healthy lifestyle, Dr. Khan offers a comprehensive medically supervised metabolism and weight management program with HCG injections, weight loss pills, supplements (doctor-grade protein bars and protein shakes) and vitamins. Dr. Khan is actively involved in the Fort Lauderdale region, and has given presentations and speeches about cholesterol, wellness, weight management and hormone replacement at numerous community events.
She takes special interest in hormone replacement for menopause,andropause (male hormone replacement with testosterone) and obtained certification for Pellet insertion of bio identical hormones from BioTe medical in Irving Texas in 2015.
She was born in Hyderabad, India, and has lived in Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. She has trained and studied medicine in England and South America.
She received her Medical Doctorate from Utessa, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 1985, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, Pa., in 1993.After completing her residency she accepted a position of Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at University of Texas at Galveston Texas till 2000.

A very intelligent, skilled and experienced professional, truly committed to the health of her patients. More than a doctor a true friend. She is the type of doctor who primarily seeks the welfare of her patients and that's it. Not the new type of health charlatan elitist arrogant character with a doctor costume, that look just to exploit their poor patients miseries for personal profit, like most of the rest of the doctors today. Dr.Khan was really professional, easy going and helped me with all my needs. I feel that because I’m young a lot of professionals tend not to take me seriously but she did take me seriously. She helped me a lot to understand how the body works/ why things happen. We had great conversation and she’s funny too. She has good energy and her and the student nurse were both really educated and answered all my questions. I will be going in about a week for a follow up

Went in for a physical. Waited almost 2 hours just to get called to the back for a 10 min check up. Intern was nice, but seemed nervous as she was checking my pressure. Was not seen by doctor khan, hoping when I go back for my follow up I'll be seen by her. Most likely won't go back after the follow up.

To be honest I don't feel comfortable coming back for another appointment. The wait time is unacceptable. I sat in the waiting room over 30 min when there were no other patients. In addition, there is a there is a thick awkward, frosted panel between you & the receptionist. You have to awkwardly stand there & wait for someone to notice you if you have a question. The reception area & medical area seemed extremely old & dingy. I mention these things because the environment a doctor sets up for their patients shows you their standards & attention to detail. I do not feel comfortable here & won't be back.

Awful and unprofessional. I had a 2:30 pm appointment. Showed up early at 2 pm. The doors were closed, no one was inside the office. It looks like they shutdown for the day. I waited till 3:00 pm, there wasn't any sign of any staff member. An equipment technician was also there waiting the same time I was and he was completely blown away on the lack of professionalism.

Dr. Khan and her office staff always treat me like family. She takes time to talk to me and actually listens and pays attention to the conversation. This small consideration that she makes time to do is so important to me, and is certainly not what I would receive at a doc in the box urgent care center. I love visiting Dr. Khan because I know she is authentic and has my best care in mind.

Great Doctor! Knew exactly what all my medical issues were right off the bat (which most doctors do not). I would definitely recommend. Though I would say go in the morning because she gets pretty busy during the day.
