The doctor did nothing more than have me name the letters in rows. Then, after being fitted for contacts, I was given 10 pairs of contacts to go home with. The woman at the front desk took five pairs away in order to get me to buy my prescription of contact at that time.

I went in to have my vision evaluated for new contact lenses (first time appointment with this doctor. The “evaluation” took all of 2 and a half minutes long and I began to have vision issues (starry vision) almost every day following the new prescription. I’m not saying this is definitely the doctors fault, but he did lower my contacts from my previous prescription dramatically and did not account for astigmatism. Now I am stuck with a year supply of bad contact lenses that hurt my eyes and I cannot return them for a new supply. I think this doctor could have taken more time to evaluate my eyes.

Staff was very helpful even though I did not have my insurance card on me. I saw Dr. Tran as soon as my information was done being processed. He was polite, thorough, and patient with my examination and my questions. Will definitely return if I need anything else.

Dr. Tran was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, unfortunately that was the best part of my experience. I went for my annual routine eye exam. I wear both glasses and contact lenses. As I’ve been getting these exams my whole life, I know what the standard procedure is and this exam was the bare minimum. My eyes weren’t even dilated, which is almost always something the doctor demands. I was then pressured to buy new contact lenses from them directly to be fitted, which I continuously denied, as I prefer buy online and shop for prices. Especially since my prescription was the same as last year. The front desk then said I owed for a “fit and follow-up” which is definitely not something I received. After a back and forth, I decided i was at the mercy of their demands and basically paid the money to leave. I’m going back to the local small business that actually cares.

Dr. Tran was great! My previous prescription was way off and he figured out the right prescription for me, for both glasses and contacts. He was very knowledgable. I was able to get an appointment quickly, I was seen immediately, and they actually had the contacts I wanted in stock, so I was able to get them immediately. He also gave me multiple recommendations for products to treat my dry eye problem. Highly recommend!

It was nice, short, and sweet. He was prompt and professional. Only thing I didn't like was that he refused to give me my pupilary distance, since I wasn't buying glasses there. I'm pretty sure that's not legal in NY state.

Dr. Tran was one of the kindest doctors I've ever met! He was so professional and asked me if I had any questions several times, instead of rushing me out the door. He also steered me away from Lasik, which no other eye doctor has done. Thank you, Dr. Tran! The woman who helped me up front was so calm and friendly and has a knack for picking out frames perfect for your face shape.
