Igor is a good Doctor.
He was nice, it was the 1st apt, so to elaborate more on whether the condition will be fixed, requires further appts. The wait time was to long.
Long waiting time only negative
He and his staff were pleasant, The doctor was very interested in my well being and took time to double check a test to be sure it was accurate. Then had a consultation with me right away. The nurse was very pleasant and helpful.
Doctor Igor was very professional and to the point. Plan to keep an open schedule when you head to his office however, the wait was very long (two hours) I had to leave to feed the meter, and you are also asked not to use the restroom while waiting to be seen, and the waiting area is small and cramped. 5 stars to the doctor himself, but 1 star to the wait time and reception area.
2 hours wait
Highly recommend. A doctor explained everything without haste, took tests, did sonogram and gave me prescription. Keep in mind though, there are usually plenty of people in line, so mornings are the best.
He was great. Explained everything thoroughly and made sure I left without unanswered questions.
Dr Sergeyev its great, he listens and cares about pts. He is very patience. I will definetly reccomend him to others.!
It was a wonderful experience. The dr and the staff were very friendly and informative.
Dr. Sergeyev saw me promptly. He has excellent bedside manner and was very sensitive to my concerns. He explained my condition very clearly and answered all my questions in a concise manner. The support staff is extremely pleasant and courteous.
Staff were very nice and attentive and the office is good condition it's controlled by the doctor the whole place and being they're felt like he's personnel to his work and that's what we need . He's great
Staff is good: competent and pleasant. Dr. S. knows his job and has great patience. Location is poor - for me. Once there OK but going and coming!
Great doctor very attentive
He was so patient and explained all my options. Great expierence
The doctor himself is good. The office staff is not so good. They seem confused when you call them. Or at least one of them seems confused. First of all, she answers the phone "Hello?" How does someone in a business answer the phone that way? She could barely speak English and she seemed more confused than I was. I asked if this was Dr. Sergeyev's number, and she said something that I couldn't understand. This is an extreme example of a place where the office staff scares away the patient. I've been to Dr. Sergeyev and he is great. But now I think I'll go to someone else because the woman who answers the phone doesn't seem to know where she's working or which way is up. This reduces my trust.
He was very professional and understanding.
He listens to the patient very carefully and shows you everything about your situation He is the best Urologist Dr. I recommend it strongly
Dr. Sergeyev is very down to earth. He understands that the patient is most likely nervous and perhaps frightened and frustrated. He doesn't talk down to the patient like a lot of doctors do; he talks to you like the human being that you are. In his office with the desk after the exam, he displayed a sense of humor as well. He makes a patient feel at ease, because he's very calm, too. A lot of doctors aren't that way. Also, his assistant (I don't know what her name is) is extremely nice and down to earth, as well. She made me feel more relaxed. And unlike a lot of the other people that commented on here, I was seen very fast, in approximately twenty minutes. All-in-all, it was a positive experience. But if I had to wait, it would have been well worth the wait. Dr. Sergeyev explains things very clearly to the layman and doesn't assume that the patient understands the science of urology, which is something I CERTAINLY don't know because I generally flunked science when I was back in school!
He is professional and right in the point
It was excellent. Thank you.
Location is not good for me and waiting room is poor. But medically he's good.
Very professional, attentive, courteous doctor. I am very satisfied.
Very good doctor. Highly recommend.
The staff are very helpful and treat everyone with respect. It was my first visit with Dr Igor Sergeyev, he treat everyone with dignity . In regarding treatment he understands what diagnostic method to use and does not order things or procedures to charge your insurance because I requested several test, he did not approve it. will definitely recommend him.
Pues la consulta muy bien ahora a esperar el resultado de la medicina
Competent, friendly and uses time well. Location, that requires R train is only drawback,
This is only my 1-st oppointment,but I like Dr.Sergeev MD.,all of staff.Good office-very quwote and profecionaly.
It was very good. He explained the relevant points and outcomes.
Dr. Was ok.. but I send 3hr in this office...
Excellent doctor. Was caring and attentive and did not rush the appointment at all. Will recommend to others.
A thorough and informed examination, excellent Doctor.
Dr. Sergeyev's office staff was very cordial & welcoming & the doctor is professional and thorough. I informed the staff that I am insured by 2 insurances, 1 being my primary and the other a secondary. They accept both insurances, however, they said that they would only use the primary insurance. It is still not clear why they will not bill both insurances.
This was my first visit to Dr. Sergeyev and my first impression was a positive one; I felt that he was very professional, thorough and kind. Never having been to a Urologist before I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect, but I was given the privacy I needed when necessary and was made to feel comfortable. The only thing I didn't like had nothing to do with the Dr. The receptionist wouldn't take a check from me because it was my first time there. Other than that everything else was good.
The waiting area was very warm , no air circulating, but good doctor overall
Very nice and friendly office staff and physicians. Schedule first or last appointment to miss the wait.
Very good experience except for the wait time. Dr. Sergeyev listens carefully and explains well.
Too small waiting room, But: Doctor and staff good!
Long wait, but great doctor. Very respectful despite potentially embarrassing medical issues.
Very professional and knowledgeable.
The doctor is great, nurse also very good, but receptionist a bit rude. Anyway fully recommend!
He was borough and explained ebpveything very clearly.
Dr Sergeyev was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. He was very crowded so i waited over 2 hrs but that is to be expected. His bedside manner was very good and I would highly recommend him to anyone. The staff was ok.
Very thorough and truly listened to my concerns. Acted immediately to solve the problem.
Taken on time. Processed quickly and thoroughly. All staff clearly competent and courteous. Respond to my deafness. The man and his practice are GOOD.
I was informed by the staff that an unforeseen circumstance contributed to the long wait this visit, however, previous visits at other location my wait time was reasonable... I'll see the doctor in the future for his specialty care.
The Dr and nurse are very nice. Dr. seems knowledgeable and attentive, and informative. However, the office staff is on a rude side mixed up my chart and the wait was very long.
A great doctor gets to the point n does not sugar coat anything
Great doctor nice staff
He is a great doctor who really takes the time to understand his patients and he has knowledge even beyond urology. I would recommend him to anyone!
His office was busy so it took a bit longer. I have confidence in this Doctor.
The visit went very well. This was my first time there and he helped me and was very patient and very kind! The staff is really friendly and the place is super cozy.
As always the doctor and the staff were most competent and courteous.Once I came up, everything went quickly. The staff member was most effective in dealing with my deafness. My only complaint is the location.
Dr Sergevev is very thorough. I like that the office is a one stop shop - sonogram & urine test are in the office. The waiting area is a bit congested & the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. Overall experience was good.
Dr. Sergeyev was ver considerate and knoweledgeable. His bedside managent were really amazing. On the other hand, the lab girls speaking in Russian is kind of uncomfortable.
My 1st impression was that stuff are not friendly and not much communicating with Patients, and stuff never introduce their name, none of them. Medical assistant (Irina) she was nice. Sonographer (blond lady) with short hear cat she was so mean to me unreasonable. For instance, she ask me lay on the sono-chair, so when I lay on it ,it was really not comfy for me , and I was about to falling down and I say "It is not a comfy chair" so she (sonographer) answered me sharply ""this chair costs $8000.00" so, it was not correct or helpful answer, she sound not professional, foolish because .she didn't care for patient safety I was worry about my safety while I was Laying on the chair, but she was worry about the cost of chair. None of the patient wants to know how mush doctors equipment's cost. I don't care for. I care about safety of equipment and safety of procedures. But after this procedures I went to doctor's room to finalizing my visit , doctor say "nothing criminal inside your kidney or bladder " by looking to my test results . May be it was a jock but it was not made on time or in correct place where you can jock by using this word like "criminal". I didn't expect from doctor becausethis word is not related to doctor's lexicon. Anyway. doctor asked me on Friday to come back ,do another procedure. When I came home receptionist call me without asking my name, without making sure that this is ILMIYA she sad me that " you have appointment on Friday at 1:00pm in Dr. Sergeyev's office" and hang the phone. Com on, It was completely not professional. Because she doesn't ask my name, she didn't say who has appointment, didn't say what is patient's name. When receptionist is calling they have to make a sure with whom they are talking to, and she can't leave message to any one about appointment. its like HIPA regulation. Anyway, I don't want to be annoying but this is just what I saw in this office.
He is very polite. And very attentive! Very good people work in office
Honestly I hardly ever come out of a doctors office feeling like I have been completely properly evaluated but I truly did after this appointment. Dr. Sergeyev is very knowledgeable and thorough. He really takes the time to explain everything to you while also hearing you out. I would highly recommend seeing him for any urology related problems that you are having. Everyone in the office was nice.
Treats as if I were human being. Clearly knows his field. Does what is desirable. Waiting room is too small.
The visit was of a high standard. The office and medical staff was very complementary. His approach, diagnosis and treatment was acceptable. Looking forward to my next visit.
I did get crushes with wait time but last time I went right in. I think after 3 hour waits, you can start complaining but emergencies happen and this guy is very good. Long story short : worth the wait
Doctor and medical staff are excellent! But it looks like the office and ZocDoc are not sharing their appointment scheduling information. That results in two or more appointments being scheduled at the same time slot.
Very good bedside matter dealing with a sensitive topic. I totally trust his judgement and believe he truly cares for his patients. I have no reason to look elsewhere.
Dr. Sergeyev is very good at what he does. I had to have a procedure in a very sensitive area that was pretty embarrassing but he dealt with it extremely well. He is also very good at understanding the importance of cosmetic needs in the nether regions and has great skill. I would recommend him without any reservations.
Very nice, personal, and thorough.
Very knowledgeable and calming. Great doc.
Doctor Igor Sergeyev MD is professional, honest and trustworthy. I am confident about this doctor’s ability to provide care.
Dr. Sergeyev was highly professional. The doctor has great bedside manners, and he made me feel very comfortable. The office staff is very nice and professional as well.
Sound professional work all around. Location is not good for me, but will continue. Treated like a human being, not a lesser breed
Good visit, no problems, just a little warm in the waiting area, not sure if the AC was turned on, he seems to be a good doctor on my initial visit, staff was good, would recommend him if you need to see a urologist.
He's a very competent and thoughtful doctor.
He is very thorough and takes the time to explain his diagnosis and recommendations for care.
Waited little longer than I would of liked but well worth it. Everyone very professional
The doctor himself was great BUT the wait time is really long, and the third time I was coming to see him, my appt was at 7:30pm, I left the house at 5:30pm because I live in queens, and the traffic is bad, the dr's office called me at 6:30pm to tell me the dr is leaving because he has no more patients... who does that? if you schedule the appt be there for it, his assistants are also very rude, one kept on going how she hates her job to me, again who does that? won't be going back
Terrific doctor, really helpful and kind. Went out of his way to make sure I got my ultrasound done quickly. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
my visit was excellent and i was satisfied with doctor igor
As others noted, he is great. His office team was somewhat underwhelming, unnecessary waiting, refilling of forms, etc. but expected that from other reviews. No biggie, just bring a phone charger.
My appointment with Dr. Sergeyev went extremely well I had pain in my private area and he right away new what to do , staff friendly nice, very clean office , I totally recommend Dr.Sergeyev
Everything was great! Amazing doctor.
The hospital maybe needs a face-lift but the Dr. was great.
Very hhelpful and very informative on such short notice.
It went well
Was great, very attentive and knowledgeable.
Dr. Sergeyev gets straight to the point and isn't too personable, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Most importantly, he seems like he knows what he's talking about. He's hard to get a hold of when trying to follow-up on test results, but when you're there he'll give you the attention you need.
Good! Wish he would stay at LICH and not follow the $$. Sound professional visit.
The doctor was fine, but I wasn't seen until an hour and half after my appointment. My lunch "hour" turned into two hours.
Overall I would easily come back here
Dr. Sergeyev is one of the best urologists I've ever been to. He's straight forward but has a great sense of humor (which is wonderful in tense situations!) I highly recommend.
He is knowledgeable and respectful.
Dr. Sergeyev is a phenomenal doctor! He is that rare breed of doctor that actually sits and patiently listens. Admittedly, this was disconcerting at first since I had gotten accustomed to doctors jumping to conclusions and rushing me along with a prescription in hand. What's truly great is that he does an excellent job of identifying and understanding not only the physiological components of potential problems, but also the psychological ones as well. Most importantly, he selects a treatment option that works with your best long-term interest in mind. This may not be the quick-fix folks are accustomed to (although he does have them available) but his approach ensures you'll be happy and naturally healthy (not prescription dependent!) for a years to come.
This might be the nicest doctor ive ever met. I came in terrified from my own assumptions from my symptoms and walked out more carefree than a lazy cat.
I went to Dr. Igor for the first time on 4-5-13. I waited less than 6min and i was imm seen by Dr. assistant Olga who is funny and adorable! Dr. Igor was GREAT! Very informative, to the point and made me feel very comfortable. I'll put it to 'you" this way, I live in New Jersey, pay $30.00 in tolls and will continue to see Dr. Igor! :)
The doctor himself had a polite, informed, and respectful bedside manner. However, the wait time and utter lack of communication between scheduling, doctors and patients is unacceptable. It is not difficult to prevent double-booking (or triple-booking), but the office literally didn't turn away anyone who made an appointment on the phone (w/ reception) or via zocdoc (with the doctor) in advance, and no communication took place between either, and certainly none was made with the patients, in advance or during the wait period. Many of the patients were notably frustrated. I even called in the morning to confirm my appointment and was assured of when to arrive, which seemed to be the norm for everyone. As a result, many patients were double-booked for the same time. I waited almost a full 90 minutes to see the doctor, and missed a good amount of work as a result. The doctor himself was fine when I finally got to see him, but I did not appreciate being assured by him personally that my appointment time was confirmed only to wait over an hour when I could have gone elsewhere. He is knowledgeable, but the lack of organization around his practice isn't worth it. There are plenty of other places to go in NYC with better time management.
Seemed very knowledgeable and was sensitive to the fact that I don't currently have insurance. Will understand more on my next visits.
He was excellent.
It's been a year since Dr. Sergeyev performed open prostatectomy surgery on me. I am 85 year old now. It was one of my best experiences. I wish I met Dr.Sergeyev earlier to be able to enjoy my life in full.
He was extremely helpful gave us a lot of options, I felt like he made sure I knew and understood everything before I left the office. I would recommend this doctor 100%.
