Dr. Braindeis was worth every minute of the wait and the wait is completely justified. She is Extremely thorough, honest and truly shows care for her patient's overall health. Very informative and great quality of an office visit. She gave me more information in one afternoon than I have received in over 18 years of seeing a GYN. She actually pays attention to your history and addresses your concerns even when you havent voiced them. Best GYN I have ever seen!

I have never had a more unpleasant experience with a Physician before. Let me break it down: 1) it was my first appointment with her, and I waited TWO HOURS to see her 2) When she finally made it to the exam room she was irritable and complained about the new computer system. She did not apologize once for the wait. 3) Bedside manner? Nearly traumatizing. She scolded me for being nervous and accused me of being neurotic when I asked too many questions. 4) I have made three attempts to have my test results transferred to a different OBGYN (clearly I never want her to treat me again) and not only have my calls not been returned, my hunch is that the receptionist hangs up on me when she sees my number on caller ID. JUST AWFUL. You would be better off going to a free clinic than to see Dr. Brandeis.

Dr. Brandeis is AMAZING. She is the third gynecologist I have visited in NYC in the last 3 years and she has definitely been the best. I only wish I had met her 3 years ago! I 100% recommend Dr. Brandeis and will be revisiting her for my next visit.

Excellent bedside manner. Very professional and kind at the same time, which is very hard to find in any doctor. I highly recommend her, however, the wait time needs to improve. I had to wait for about 1.5 hours, but I 10 minutes late for the appointment. Thank goodness I had a day off work. I have a follow-up, soon, on a working day, I hope it is not going to take more than 1 hour for wait time and consultation.

Very thorough and knowledgeable. She makes you feel very comfortable. Only thing was that I was not able to resolve what I came for because when reserving appointments through zocdoc the office is not able to see the purpose of the visit or the comments. However will be going back to her from now on .

Seeing the doctor was pleasant; she was much less dismissive of my concerns than other doctors I have seen and was very laid-back, but her humor might not suit some people. However, I'm not sure I can justify the ridiculous wait time to see her. I waited over two hours: I signed in, went out and had a full meal, came back, and still had to wait. On top of this, the waiting room where you are expected to sit for so long is small and dreary with not so much as a water cooler.

She is one of the finest doctors I have ever seen. She is kind, takes her time with you ( worth a bit of a wait), is up on the research and explains things very clearly. She also is very gentle with her examination and very thorough. An outstanding doctor!
