Dr. Ingrid Reyes graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri Honors College with a B.A. in History. She then attended Saint Louis University for medical school where she met her husband, Dr. John Reyes. Dr. Ingrid Reyes completed her residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital through Drexel University in Philadelphia.
During her residency, Dr. Ingrid Reyes has been honored with several awards during her training. She was the recipient of the CREOG academic excellence award twice which is given to the resident who achieves the highest score on the annual national resident examination. Dr. Reyes was also individually chosen by her faculty to serve as the academic chief resident in her senior year. She was actively involved in research projects and investigated the complication rates of office based procedures. Dr. Reyes enjoys teaching and has presented numerous presentations and educational conferences on a vast array of women’s health topics.
Dr. Reyes has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She gained advanced training in this field and has worked with and been taught by leaders in this specialty. Dr. Reyes was honored to be offered a fellowship position in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgery, but chose to pursue private practice with her husband. Dr. Reyes had the privilege to be a part of the development of single port access (SPA) surgery and was trained by the developers of this technique at Drexel University.
