She took the time to answer my questions, went through blood work with me, did all the things doctors do. The Medical Assistant was very nice and knew how to draw blood very well.. The front desk staff however, was a little hasty and rude at first, especially when they decided to call me 15 mins before my appointment to not confirm but cancel it!!... but after I insisted it took 30mins to get there, made it on time AND was already outside the office, they decided to get it together, and let me keep my appointment. The 2nd time around, they became a lot more tolerable to deal with, so for now, overall... I'm content.

Dr. Irene was professional and straight to the point. Her receptionist on the other hand “Gloria” is pretty rude and has to work on her attitude. She was arguing with the previous patients in the middle of the waiting area.

Dr. Boginsky was great. There was a bit of an issue with scheduling, so the wait was quite long, but the staff was friendly.

The worse doctor, I ever have been. Came to her two weeks ago with cold. She told me the illness will pass itself. I asked for medicine. She did not want to make a receipt. Finally she made it, some drops in nose. When I came to buy it, the guys told me, that my insurance doesn’t cover it!!!! I already spend on her a lot of my time, what is my money. PLUS, two weeks after I still ill, researching for a normal doctor. Who has good education and experience. This doctor should not get license at all! One more fact, when I came to her office, on the coach was leftovers. She explained this, that she just came from the market where she got food... I would not comment it... it says a lot! If you will choose this doctor, Welcome to the Hell.

Ladies at the front desk were nice & welcomed me right away. The DR was nice too. I was first time patient which usually takes some time with doctors questions & what not. But the wait was pretty long in general. Hope it’s shorter next time. MD was professional & asked questions. Made me feel comfortable. Nurse who took blood is very good with hands. Didn’t feel a thing!

Very diligent. The main point is that Dr. Boginsky spends as much time as needed with you to TRULY understand the root cause of the problem. With most other doctors you get a feeling you are being rushed out of the door.

Great doctor! She took time to evaluate my condition thoroughly and clearly laid out the treatment approach and next steps. Definitely not that type of environment where you feel rushed from the moment you stepped in.

Pros: can use Zocdoc, super efficient. Nurse Stephanie is super nice. Doc B is practical, efficient: I had persistent cough and sprained wrist. She didn't over prescribe and gave good advice about rest and suppression of symptoms. Cons: kind of cramped new place, was seen one hour after my appointment time, I would have liked more explanation of why blood/urine test but I gather it's cause I have not had one in a while. If the location works for you, and you're patient, likely a fair experience in the long run.
Note: moved to 2753 Coney Island Ave. - some insurance platforms list old address at 15 Ocean Ave.

My experience with the doctor was ok, nothing special, nothing that really put me off.
My experience with the receptionist was a whole other story ( I was told they have new people). I've never had someone be so rude so fast on simple question. I had been waiting for about 40 min by the time I went to the receptionist and asked when I was going to be seen. In the 40 min I had been there, not a single patient had been seen to, and there were about 6 people in front of me. Her response was defensive, out right rude, and snarky. She tried to blame me, saying I barely made the appointment time... I was 12 min early. She then told me an hour or more wait time was normal...not for any visit I have ever been to. When I tried to defend myself she said "well the way you are asking is pretty rude." I had the flu and had zero energy, I'll be the first to admit if I was being rude or unreasonable, I frankly I did not have the energy to do so. I have worked in customer service jobs for many many years and have a lot of patience because I know the person you are talking isn't generally the one setting the rules and timelines. However this woman was WAYY out of line. Just asking a question seemed to offend her very being. That woman alone will ensure I never return. That and showing up at 10:48 for an 11 am appointment, being seen for all of 15 minutes and not getting to leave till 1 PM!

My visit was adequate. There was about a 45 minute wait. The nurse taking my bloods was very friendly and efficient. Dr Boginsky's bedside manner was rather detached and I would have liked more discussion about possible diagnosis and better information and communication in general.
However I was very impressed that Dr Boginsky called me on the phone in person on the following Monday (my appointment was on Friday afternoon!) to discuss the results of my tests and arrange to forward a prescription to my pharmacy.

The person who drew my blood said she doesn't usually "do this" because she doesn't like to hurt anyone. Also, there's one staff who does intake , who seems to verbally patronized and demean the front desk reception in front of clients. Doctor Irene more or less pretended to give me a physical exam by touching on my legs and stomach which took less than a minute.

I probably wouldn't go back, she was nice but I had to wait almost an hour and a half to see her with an appointment. Also, went in for a physical and she couldn't draw my blood or do the EKG because they were "too busy." She gave me a recommendation to get my blood drawn at quest and then have to come back in two weeks to go over results which means more time off from work. I wouldn't go back to this practice it was a waste of my time.

The doctor herself was fine--very to the point and seems to know generally how to treat patients. The receptionists are a little hard to take. While I was checking out, a girl was sent back to the reception counter because the receptionist sent her to the wrong doctor (she was supposed to see a cardiologist who had left for the day). The receptionist actually yelled at the girl saying she hadn't been clear about who she was there to see. She even went so far as to ask her why she couldn't just see the general doctor instead of the cardiologist. I would recommend finding a different office because these people lack professionalism and decency.

The doctor was cold, barely spoke to me, was not thorough. She wrote me multiple prescriptions for over the counter stuff. One of the receptionists was so rude that the other receptionist had to apologize for her. My original appointment had to be rescheduled due to some glitch in their system and booking a follow up in the office was difficult.

Dr. Boginsky herself and staff are very polite. Based off of that I would likely recommend that office. However, they seem to be a tad bit unorganized. The wait time made it seem more like I was a walk-in and they only accept cash payment. For those who have a lot of things going on in life they may not have the patience to go here, but they have late office hours, are near the B,Q,S trains and are within walking distance to my home so it works for me...

Doctor Irene Boginsky seems to be a nice professional. However, it is really too early to give her a real feedback. Girls at the office and especially Stephanie, Doctor's assistant, needs a STAR for being such an Ace at putting patients at ease and always cracking jokes.
Overall, the atmosphere is comforting and the location is very convenient, 2 minutes from Prospect Park. Other than 2.5hour wait, my overall experience was quite positive. Dr. Boginsly listened attentively and was trying to suggest different solutions to my concerns. Therefore, she deserves a positive feedback from me.

I waited almost an hour and a half after my appointment time to get seen. Even after being seen, I was dissatisfied. The doctor did not seem particularly knowledgable and the entire visit seemed rushed even after waiting so long. During the visit, the door was not closed and later I was asked private questions in the middle of the hallway. I went here because the doctor had such good reviews on ZocDoc, but I would not go back.
