Even Iman has been so helpful dealing w them! She has been great and I know she’s always busy, but finds the time to help me as a patient.

Dr. Alhamrawy is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty training and board certification in Pain Management. Dr. Alhamrawy’s educational background includes training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore and University of Tanta, School of Medicine.
Dr. Alhamrawy specializes in non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain through the use of epidurals, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, radiofrequency ablation and discography.
He also performs ultrasound-guided peripheral joint injections for the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal pain secondary to acute injuries as well as chronic conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis and carpal tunnel syndrome .
Ultrasound guidance injection improves accuracy and has been shown to provide better and faster pain relief.The use of ultrasound also dramatically reduces the pain associated with the injection itself.

Dr. Alhamrawy has the best bedside manner possible, he is really professional and he thoroughly explains your condition and prescribes medication accordingly.

I will try to keep this short!
Dr.Al went above and beyond his regular Physician duties, by dealing w one of the problems that most likely ,ALL of us Pts. dread!
Out of nowhere, my insurance provider decided it wanted to add a Pre Authorization for a Med that works well, and before they would allow that, I was told, I have to try a different but more expensive medicine, which also had a Pre Auth. Attached to it!
Dr Al , had all this Knocked out w/in 72 hours!
And this was the week before the Start of the December / January holiday weeks!!
I can not thank him enough! Just as all was going well, I had to worry about this!
I also want to thank Anne! Anne was great also, she had happened to pick up my call, after I got off the phone w my ins. provider. I believe I spoke to about 5 managers, I went right up the line. So when Anne had answered, she was such a professional voice of reason. On top of that, I Also revived a Text from Dr.Als office that everything was all taken care off!!

Bc of some serious Vascular Surgery (3 failed), Dr Al has been instrumental on such a huge scale in making sure I knew what was happening, more than the surgeons I feel!!

After coming off s major vascular surgery, I had slot of questions that the surgeons were kind of standoffish.
I never knew how knowable Dr Al was about different disciplines of medicine. He calmed a lot of fears I had!
On top of that, Dr.Als staff is also so helpful! The cute blond girl behind the sign in desk has always gone out of her way, and Rohan and Imam (sp.) have always been able to fix and problems that have arisen!

The doctor was super attentive and listen i mean LISTEN to all my ailments and complaints. The treatment didnt feel good at the time but a day or two later my pain went from a 11 to a 1.5 then to "0"
I'm going back and bring my wife and sister who suffers with sciatica issues.

Hard to understand accent. Speaks very fast and does not spend enough time listening to patient concerns. For a physiatrist, I think its important for a Dr to spend time understanding what the patient is going through.

I have been seeing doctors for my entire life due to two painful birth defects. Dr. Al has been the most passionate, understanding, amazing doctor I have ever had. He truly cares about you and is there for you 24/7. His staff is amazing and friendly, which is rare now a days. If you are in pain, he will do whatever it takes to help you day or night. They don't make many doctors like him anymore!

I went to visit Dr. Alhamrawy for issues with my thumb. I was seen very quickly. The doctor spent a lot of time with me, thoroughly looking at my issue and explaining everything clearly. I was impressed with how thorough the exam was. I also had concerns regarding my insurance and payments and both one of his office coordinators and Dr. Alhamrawy himself called me to address any concerns I had. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and is very knowledgable, and helped resolve my thumb issue. I highly recommend him.

I came to Dr. Al in terrible pain. My ankle, wrist, and shoulder stopped me from doing many of the things i enjoyed. I came to Dr. AL's office and he immediately knew what to do. He gave me some injections and referred me to a physical therapist in the same building. I haven't felt any pain in my wrist or shoulder since the injections, it was pretty amazing. After a little physical therapy treatment for my ankle, the pain went away there as well. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and extremely effective. I would recommend him to anyone.

I found Dr.Alhamrawy through zocdoc. Patients provided positive reviews and they proved to be accurate. I have a history of knee pain and arthritis but experienced severe knee pain before Christmas unrelated to an injury, resulting in inability to walk or bend knee. Trip to ER was non productive. Dr Alhamrawy was able to see me the Monday after the incident. Office staff were professional,pleasant and efficient, Dr. Alhamrawy was knowledgable and after brief history and examination suggested Hyalgan therapy. I am very pleased with the care and treatment received.
