He seems like a good doctor, has a nice, easy manner to him. He didn't really ask a lot of pertinent questions, just vague questions about food she eats, etc. He wrote information in her online medical chart, which will be good for future reference. It took almost two and a half hours from the time of the appointment at 3:30 till we left a little after 5:45, so I was frustrated with how long it took for a basic child exam with two vaccinations.

I did not appreciate waiting in the exam room for 1 hr 20 min. My appointment was 11 a.m. and I was there on time. I was taken to the exam room and had vitals checked within 20 min. I was not seen by Dr Rester until 12:40 p.m.

Dr. Rester is great. You will wait a while before being seen. But he gives you full attention when it is your turn. He is very knowledgeable of new and old medications. Great with kids and adults. I have been his patient for over 10 years. Would recommend him to anyone who has illness that other doctors can't diagnose. Wonderful Doctor.

I loved Dr. Rester. He was thorough and took his time with me which I appreciated after waiting 60 minutes to be seen. One reason I chose him is because his profile indicated he was a Christian. However, I was disappointed to see that his nurse was wearing a "Happy Haunting" scrub shirt in Feb. I think in the Rockwall area and when advertising yourself as a Christian you need to be aware of the values many of your clients maintain. Also, the bedside manner of the nurse with my child was poor. She knew we were new patients yet greeted my 9 year old child with "Please have a seat" and then proceeded to put a blood pressure cuff on him and take his temp with no preparatory statement like, "Hi, I'm so-and-so. How are you today. If you will sit down I'll explain what I'm going to do..." When dealing with scared or nervous children in a pediatric office I'd expect staff to know how to address children in a way which makes them feel at ease.

I felt that Dr Rester was thorough in reviewing my health problems and listened to what I was concerned about. He provided me with exercises to do on my own as a result.

He was straight forward with me in describing my situation and using terminology I could understand. He went through my medical history with me, and we talked about it since this was my first visit with him.
His receptionists were very nice and friendly, and his nurse made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Rester is a very thoughtful man. He listens, researches and goes above and beyond where many stop short. Over cautious, perhaps, but I've never known him to jump the gun, either. He is a true professional, in my opinion. I have been seeing him since 2008.
