Dr Hauser founded HeartCare Associates of CT, LLC in 1987 in New Haven. Since then, HeartCare has grown to include a professional staff of eleven physicians (MD), Nurse Practitioners (APRN), and Physician Assistants (PA), establishing itself as one of Connecticut’s premier cardiovascular practices. HeartCare specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart, blood vessels, and lungs. HeartCare also focuses on the prevention and management of: Diabetes, Obesity, Sleep Apnea, Stroke, and Depression/Anxiety.
Dr. Jack Hauser grew up in New York City. He graduated from The University of Rochester in New York in 1976 where he earned a B.A. degree with distinction in Philosophy. In 1980, Dr. Hauser then earned his MD degree from La Facultad de Medicina, LaUniversidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. After earning his MD degree, Dr. Hauser spent a year doing postgraduate medicine at Elmhurst Hospital of the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, followed by his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at The Hospital of St. Raphael (currently the HSR campus of Yale New Haven Hospital) in New Haven. Dr. Hauser did his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas from 1985 to 1987, before relocating to Connecticut to begin his career in Cardiology.
