Dr. Jade T. Gittens completed her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) and matriculated with her podiatric medical degree in 2008. She was the recipient of several awards while attending NYCPM including the Pi Mu Delta National Podiatry Service Society Award.
Dr. Gittens completed a 36 month podiatric medicine and surgery residency at St Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. She served as chief resident during her last year. She also received the Department of Surgery Mahmood Cheema, MD Award- Outstanding Resident Award.
Currently Dr. Gittens is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. She is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is also listed in Cambridge's Who Who.
Dr. Gittens is trained extensively in the latest techniques in foot and ankle surgery and performs surgery for all common foot and ankle ailments, as well as performing complex corrective foot surgery. She also has a special interest in the treatment of chronic wounds as well as diabetic palliative care. She is able to take care of all podiatric needs, whether minimal or complex.

When I first walked into Dr. Gittens office I was a little thrown off by the office size, but once I saw her receptionist Jennifer she greeted me with a smile and was very kind and got me started with my paperwork rather quickly which I loved! I was only sitting there for about ten minutes and than Ms. Roxanne the assistant who was lovely came to take me back. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the bed side manner of all of the Doctors staff including herself. Today was my first visit and I will definitely be doing business with this office in the future! I recommend anyone to her. not to mention she is gorgeous :)
