Wow! What an amazing doctor! He took the time to hear my issues and concerns. He istened incredibly well and asked great follow up questions. He made sure that he understood everything that I was sharing. He referred me to a great provider for further evaluation as this appointment was done over video. I felt very comfortable having an appointment over video and it felt pretty natural, almost as if I was in the office. Seriously recommending Dr. Mehta if you are looking for a doctor who truly provides exceptional care. 10/10 and two big thumbs up!

This provider is the real deal! He was attentive, caring, and listened to my concerns. He was quick and efficient with his ability to provide me the best next steps while still explaining his professional advice around those steps. My lower back pain has been such a process to get help with lasting relief. He is the first provider to fully explain what I will need and why. He very empathic with my pain and this process for healing. Recommend 10/10 and two thumbs up!

Jaideep Mehta, MD, MBA, FASA, is a Double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at University Medical Group. Dr. Mehta diagnoses and treats acute, cancer and chronic pain with the goal of restoring his patients’ functionality so they can get back to enjoying their active lifestyle.
Dr. Mehta began his higher education with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of California at Berkeley. He then attended the University of Chicago, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Finance. Subsequently, he went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine.
After completing his internship in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, Dr. Mehta went on finish his residency in anesthesiology at George Washington University. He then completed a fellowship in interventional chronic and cancer pain at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. This fellowship gave him the training he needed to become an interventional pain specialist in treating degenerative disease and sports injuries of the spine, back, hip, and knee.
Dr. Mehta is also renowned for his deep knowledge of neuromodulation, non-invasive, and minimally invasive technologies to help address chronic and cancer pain, focusing on quick recoveries and returning patients to their active lifestyles. Neuropathic pain of the feet, knees, and back are an additional area that Dr. Mehta has recognized skill in treating using the latest technologies available, especially in patients seeking to avoid or delay painful joint replacement surgeries.
